GustiShoulder Bag Leather - Evelyn Ladies Handbag Cross-Body Bag Brown small

Received my bag yesterday and at first thought what the hell! Lol it was flat packed and felt damp:( decided to stay positive... jam packed it with newspaper to reshape it and hung it to air out. Well it surely transformed and came to life. I love it! Looks fab! (And i sure love good bags) if you like vintage this is for you ;)

made from Goat skin and dyed , the family letter is a nice touch even though its photcopied, stitching could be better, but time will tell

I love this bag. really feels soft to touch, lots of pockets for all my bits and pieces. was smaller then I thought it would be. but I think the leather will give as time goes on. there is a small, but its not over powering, I started using the morning it was delivered , and by afternoon small started to go. would get another bag from here. fast delivery. information on how to care for the bag in packaging. really please with my bag. and looking forward to lots of use in years to come.

Arrived promptly but I'm hugely disappointed in this bag and definitely don't recommend it.I've bought the Buffalo black leather studio 'Matt' laptop/satchel bag a year ago direct from the Gusti Leder website and was incredibly happy with the bag - It's excellent quality and looks brand new still, I truly love this bag and use it regularly so when I needed a very small purse bag for essentials when going on holiday, I thought I would get another Gusti Leder bag.After looking about I came across this and thought it looked cute, it also looked secure enough to minimize getting pick-pocketed so I ordered it. It arrived quite quickly and was very well packaged but you could see straight away it was terrible quality. The stitching was a bit manic around the edges (which probably wouldn't have bothered me so much if the rest was OK) there were loose threads unraveling and the lining wasn't sewn properly on the inside so there were holes between the lining and leather.The strap is terrible - it's two pieces of leather just butted together and sewn horribly (see photos) it is incredibly flimsy & weak and if there was ANYTHING in the bag when you wore this across your body or your shoulder, the stitches will definitely break - not to mention that the lining would further come away from the inside of the bag if anything was carried in it. What also bothered me was that this bag had so much promotional material about Gusti Leder inside the bag, including a hand-written letter from the child of the farmer/worker who made this or supplied the leather or something as well as leather tags and a leather headphone clip, so I know at least one person had to have looked at this bag, I don't know how it was ever approved.I thought I was getting the same quality of bag as I had bought previously. I understand that these are handmade and there will be some maker marks within the production of these items, however there were issues that rendered this bag unusable. I paid £50 for this bag and I regret it. I won't be buying from Gusti Leder again.

I love this bag.However the leather isn't soft like some people say, but to me that does not lessen the quality at all.I have used this nonstop for a month and it really has held its shape and works perfectly and is the perfect size.The leather has a small flaw in one place that has a repair it seems, this however only adds character I feel and this genuinely feels very hand made and thus adds to the value of the bag to me.

This is simply a GORGEOUS bag. Beautifully, perfectly made, the leather smells wonderful and it's just the right length as a cross-body bag (but you can shorten the strap if you like). It's got plenty of room inside, several pockets, it's really just awesome. This is the third Gusti product I've bought and the quality is second to none. I can fit my wallet (also Gusti), my iPad mini, my powder and brush, a snack bar, pens, notebooks, an inhaler, and lots of other stuff easily. Perfect for walking up to campus each day.

This is a beautiful bag. I bought it as a gift and wanted to keep it for myself. It is well made, the leather is finished properly and it is sturdy and classic in design. It is also big enough to carry the essentials including a tablet. the person that I gave it to was absolutely delighted! I will definitely buy more Gusti products in the future and definitely one of these lovely bags for myself.
