ETUDE Fixing Tint, #11 Rose Blending, Matte Liquid Lipstick, Long-Lasting

The ETUDE Fixing Tint in Mellow Peach is a long wearing lip tint that delivers a warm peachy-coral shade perfect for natural, everyday looks. The color is universally flattering, especially on warm and neutral skin tones, and is buildable from a subtle wash to a more saturated finish. True to its name, this tint offers impressive staying power of 6-8 hours, drying down to a semi-matte finish that resists transfer through normal eating and drinking. The compact 4g size comes with a doe-foot applicator for easy, precise application. This shade works particularly well for two-toned lips. The peachy tone naturally helps neutralize darker pigmentation and purple undertones, creating a more uniform appearance. For best results, build up 2-3 layers on clean, exfoliated lips. While it won't completely mask severe pigmentation, it does an excellent job evening out mild to moderate discoloration. Just note that the formula can be slightly drying, so moisturizing beforehand is recommended. Overall, this is an affordable, reliable choice for anyone seeking a flattering everyday lip tint with serious staying power. It's especially worth considering if you're looking to even out two-toned lips while maintaining a natural, fresh look.

This is so lightweight to the point where you can barely feel it on your lips. It’s a very thin formula. Most longwearing matte liquid lipsticks almost feel like you have a film or mask on your lips. And even the ones marketed as being “comfortable “ on the lips eventually start to give your lips a tightening effect and your lips start to feel dry after hours of wear. THESE DONT DO THAT. I’ve used many matte liquid lipsticks especially high end brands for many years since Stila and Kat Von D. Even drug store like Nyx. Trust me when I say this is the best liquid matte lipstick formula I have ever tried. It’s TRULY matte. Not satin or satin matte. And YET it is not drying, super lightweight and almost kind of hydrating. Did I mention it’s extremely long wearing? Like lasts the whole day even through a meal. And if I eat something really greasy I can easily touch it up without it getting cakey or crusty since like I said, it’s a very thin lightweight formula. My only complaint is that pretty much the entire line is super warm toned. Almost every shade leans red, orange or yellow. There’s only 3 shades that I find wearable because they’re the only cool toned pinky mauvey shades in the line. They are Cool Pink on Top, Woody Pink and Dusty Beige. They’re beautiful shades though but not that different from each other. Hopefully they’ll extend the line to add more cool toned shades and variety because the line is completely taken over by warm tones. Such a great formula but I would like to own more shades.

It’s hard for me to find a lip color that actually reads natural mauve on my lips, with my cool undertones. This one came surprisingly close. Most shades marketed as ‘rose’ or mauve either end up looking orangey-brown and far too warm on me, or too bright pink on me. This blur lip stain, which is a perfect name for it, in the color ‘Cool on Top Pink’ was was the ideal, cool-shaded mauve, which applied smoothly, slightly stained and blurred my lips and offered me just the color and type of lip coverage I was seeking. It’s not too dry and stays on for several hours even while eating. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it arrived broken got all over everything and the only way they would send me a new one was if I returned the broken one which literally got all over everything, and I threw it out immediately. And yes, it stains your fingers, clothes, and your rug, just like it does to your lips.

I am quite selective about lip products, so I typically use only lip balm. Texture concerns and a fair, cool-neutral complexion make color hard to match, and the effort rarely feels justified. This Fixing Tint has crossed that threshold and is my preferred choice for dressing up. The shade Cool Pink on Top isn’t common in many US brands and, and when I do find it, it never looks right on me. CPoT is my holy grail, my lips but better color. The formula begins nearly watery and applies smoothly with solid coverage, but it’s still not 100% opaque and is buildable. It is not glossy or sticky, and it is not opaque paint-cream like so many liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. I apply two coats and after a few minutes, I can sip from a water bottle and use my inhaler without transfer. At $18 USD, it’s always getting restocked before I run out.

no strong smell, amazing quality, beautiful long lasting color. Not super moisturizing but not drying either. It can go on thick so I apply a little at a time and smudge out before it dries and just layer until I get the deepness in color I want that day. Once it dries it is smudge proof and transfer proof. I usually add a balm or gloss on top but you don't have to. adding a topper does make it fade faster so it i want to deep color i started with I'll have to reapply abut 4 hours later (that's after eating and drinking) but even if i don't reapply there is still a nice stain on my lips so I'll just swipe some balm on and finish my day.

Color looks great for everyday use but it doesn’t really leave a tint, at least on my lips. On first application, it looks very opaque, The trick is to only out a thin layer and let it dry. It does tend to last longer than other lipsticks but will eventually fade. I didn’t notice any tint remaining on my lips, however, which is a bummer. Luckily it’s very easy to re-apply as needed but I wish it would last longer or at least leave the advertised tint. I did end up purchasing two other shades and the others are also very pretty but I doubt I will re-purchase it when I run out. Side note, I really appreciate the pictures of each of the colors on different skin tones. It made choosing a good shade for me much easier and convinced me to order more than one.

To start, it doesn't taste or smell (which wins MAJOR points in my book). I have vitiligo so I'm losing the pigment in the corners and edges of my lips. It makes my lips look incredibly small and diminished. As I have no pigment you can sometimes see veins in my lips which make them look like I have a smear of blue ink on my lip (I get told often that I have ink on my lips!). This is a really nice formula, it goes on smoothly and when it dries it doesn't dry out my lips, which are prone to drying. It's a good color, neutral, but pleasant, and it hides my vitiligo very well. It has an elegant and understated effect, which is something I've not been able to really achieve trying to hide my lack of pigment there. It blends out well, too. So if you only want to start at the inner lips and fade outward, it creates a nice look. Well, I imagine it would for people who aren't pigmentally challenged! It works with lip liner, which I need as I have no pigment around significant portions of my lips, but I think most people can get away without lip liner. I will say it was a challenge to find a lip liner match for the color. Too Faced plumping lip liner has a color that works. My only con is that it doesn't last as long as I would like, it needs frequent reapplication, unfortunately. Once it's on it doesn't seem to transfer easily, but if you're aggressively rubbing your lips, then it will. If you eat or drink it come off. I still recommend this. It's actually my new go-to. I will be buying it again.

This is such a great lip formula. I will be returning the "mellow peach" shade that I ordered, because the color is much brighter, and less natural looking, than in the photos. I will be trying other shades however, as I really enjoyed the natural look and finish of the cream. This offers a soft focus blur and a hydrating texture, but with a matte finish that can be blotted down to a natural stain. The formula also applies nicely and does not stray out of the lines, like so many other long wear formulas do. For the price point, this is an excellent value, if you can get the color that is right for you.

Love the quality and colour! Texture is blurring, absolutely gorgeous for it.

I have dry lips and the tint usually cling to drier parts of my lips making it look patchy. However this one is perfect and leaves a subtle uniform tint on my lips. The texture is lightweight and very comfortable. It does not dry my lips. The packaging is beautiful. Overall, totally worth the money.
