Grill Emblem Insert
Even though it fits a 2017 Tundra, it requires the grill emblem insert from a 2018 or newer model.

Better off pulling something out of a junk yard
Out of the box this way, emblem from stock grill wasn’t compatible with this replacement. flimsy, weak, poorly made, cheapest option for a reason!

NO EMBLEM - DOESNT FIT OLD ONE - SUPPORT IS USELESS
So, first off - the price is decent, and it is pretty easy to install. I'm not a "car guy" but you really just need one socket and a YouTube video (doesn't come with instructions) not too difficult. Note that the hood bulge (small top piece) is glossy while the grille is matte - just know going in that they aren't an exact match. The hood line also isn't as smooth as OEM - one of the corners sticks up sharp rather than contouring with the hood, but you probably won't notice it at most angles.Does not come with emblem, which should be fine since the description specifies that. The problem is that the old emblem doesn't fit this grille - different size, style, mounting, everything. I'm fine buying a new emblem, I just need to know what fits it - and here starts the absurd journey with their useless support staff. I explain the issue in detail, they say "sorry, this doesn't come with an emblem." Yeah, stated that in my initial message - I knew that when I bought it, just need to know which one fits it. Responded to their message and got "reuse the old one". Awesome... specified twice that it wouldn't work, but thanks for the suggestion. Repeated my issue, and they asked what model my truck is...? If the old one doesn't fit, the model doesn't matter - need to know what fits your part. Took it to Toyota and had them try every emblem they had in stock, and none of them fit that grille. Told this to support, and they said "try a 2018 Tundra." Went back to Toyota, tried all 3 part numbers from that model (again) and none of them had the right clips for the grille. Replied back to support, and got the very helpful advice of "reuse the old one...". They are the equivalent of a HelpDesk whose only script is "did you try restarting?" To my knowledge, there is no Toyota emblem in existence designed to fit this part.I spent hours on Ebay with dimensions and clip styles and eventually found one off an old 2015 Highlander that was really close - had to use my rotary tool to grind off the bottom clips, but it fit with a little modification. Only reason this isn't 1 Star is that they refunded me a few bucks to buy the emblem.
