Nova Development US, Print Artist Platinum 25

For over 20 years, I have run a singing telegram company, and used Print Artist for designing our certificates to present at the delivery. I've always found this program easy to use, with tons of images. Easy to use interface, even when you want to import your own image. I was disappointed when I recently bought a Win 10 laptop, and my older Print Artist Platinum was incompatible. I was reluctant to buy it again, but did so based on it's track record. The new version is just as nice as the old. Installation was a breeze, and I was up and running on the Win 10 laptop in no time. For the beginner, this product is easy to use - drop and drag with easy to understand menus and features. For the more advanced user, there are menu options and tweaks that allow even finer manipulation to suit your creative genius.

We were running this on a Windows 7 Home Premium x64-based PC with 8Gb of RAM. AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Processor, 3600 MHz, AMD Radeon HD 6670. After we originally installed the Print Artist Platinum 25 it ran beautifully for 2 or 3 sessions before we started to get an error that popped up shortly after it launching which indicated some issues with a supposed favorited file of some sort that's impossible to trace because of the length of the error report that goes well beyond the size of the error window. Immediately I noticed in the error message dubug info. that there were misspellings within the actual code that could be the cause of numerous issues. Contacted Nova Development, and you quickly discover even after a mere 6 days of ownership that the promised limited free support is a ruse. Perhaps you'll have better luck with the company's paid support codes they sell for between $10 - $20, but I'm not going to chance it. The company claims you have 90 days to return the product for a full refund, but they also said I had 90 days support free. Probably costs me $10 to let them know I'm returning it too. As others have said Print Master 25 Premium does become increasingly unstable over time until eventually it adds or subtracts graphics on a whim, throws a fit trying to save or print, crashes randomly without notice, and many other issues that are capable of causing even the most seasoned user of this or similar card and gift creation programs to literally pull their hair out. In all fairness to Print Artist 25 Platinum, I can now assure you... it's just as good as PrintMaster v6 Platinum, and that's not saying a lot. Been there done that too. It seems the last time we were able to get a reliable card creation program that worked as advertised without issues was PrintMaster 7.0 when Mindscape produced it in the early 90s. AND, it still runs flawlessly on a virtual machine using Win95 or later, BUT I don't recommend it because it opens you up to all sorts of other nastiness due to the OS no longer being supported. Very sad... we need a quality card creation program. Won't somebody out there produce one? PLEASE

The software installed and,works perfectly. I use Windows 10 in my PC. Very good software for the price.

I was able to load the program but I couldn't register it. It kept taking me on a trip.

I have used Print Artist in the past, but am having trouble with it now. New computer, Windows 11, it seems not compatible. has anyone any similar experiences?

This program is compatible with my Windows 11 at this point. It is easy to use, and easy to learn. It also appears to have several other options besides making Greeting Cards, such as making banners, etc. I wish it gave the option of saving a design (such as a banner) in a PDF or other format that a commercial printer could use. My home printer doesn't allow printing on other than standard sized media (up to 8 1/2 x 14"), so I must save in a format that one of the office stores can use and print for me. But the graphic designs, photos, and cartoons allow many choices to enhance my creations.

I have used Print Shop products for over 30 years and now they don’t work well with Windows 10, I bought Print Artist from Amazon and it works better than anything I’ve ever used WoW is how I describe it. Print Artist Platinum Edition 25 caused major problems with my old Canon MX922 printer (which is a real gem). I was just about to order a new printer when I had the brilliant idea if uninstalling Print Artist. Errors that would not clear except after several attempts, constantly reporting non-existant paper jams. Then - Control Panel had problems uninstalling the program. I'm keeping my venerable printer, which works with old and new programs, and has held up for many years. Print Artist Platinum Edition DVD is in the trash. I would definitely not recommend this program to anybody.

I like to make my own greeting cards that I send to relatives and friends, This allows me to personalise them, often including a photograph. Print Artist cards always have a reaaly good finished appearance!
