This cushion is a serious butt saver! I traveled to Europe stopping in Dallas and Philadelphia on outbound and Newark to home on the return. I had at least 10 hours in economy each direction. This cushion made the ride so much more comfortable. One one leg, the airplane seat cushion was practically non existent and I could feel a bar underneath it. This cushion gave me enough padding that I couldn't feel it. On the longer legs over the Atlantic, I was able to sit comfortably without squirming or readjusting. Previous trips left me sore and practically unable to stand because my tailbone was so sore. Not any more! I highly recommend this cushion. Bonus - it's small and packable in my personal item bag. Double win!

I bought this for my 76-year-old mother so she would be more comfortable sitting through church services and her granddaughter’s volleyball games, and it has made a noticeable difference for her. She needed something lightweight, portable, and comfortable enough for longer periods of sitting without being difficult to carry around. The cushion is supportive without feeling too firm, and the foldable design makes it easy for her to take with her from place to place. She especially likes that it doesn’t slide around constantly like some cheaper cushions tend to do. What stood out to us: * Comfortable for extended sitting * Lightweight and easy to carry * Folds up nicely for travel * Good support without feeling stiff * Helps make harder seats much more tolerable We’ve used it at church, school sporting events, and during longer outings, and it’s held up well so far. It also looks much nicer and more discreet than some bulky medical-style cushions. Overall, this turned out to be a very thoughtful and practical purchase, and my mother has used it regularly since getting it. Definitely a 5-star product from our experience.

Nice and small which is convenient and comfortable

I got this pillow to prevent tailbone pain on a 14-hr flight to Asia. It helped a little bit, but didn’t have the level of impact as a targeted medical pillow. The gel pillow folded and was a portable size although a little heavy, as you’d expect from gel grid material. It was convenient for supporting pressure points and adaptable as a pillow, butt cushion, or back support. I still ended the flight with tailbone pain, but not as bad as prior trips.

I bought this product to try and help me alleviate pain in one of my hip joints. This incredible seat cushion more than met my expectations, it exceeded them by eliminating any pain from occurring during my transatlantic flights ! I was determined to find a way to reduce hip pain when I flew from Chicago to Scotland and back in a 12 day period. I also wanted a cushion that could fit in my carryon pack. A full size cushion is too wide to fit in the pack, but a ComfiLife seat cushion is like a medium size book of 400 pages when folded in half, it easily fits in the pack ! I had no discomfort in my hip on the 8 hour flight over, or the 9 hour flight back. Now - I knew that my hip was aching, because on the hour and a half flights from my town to Chicago and return, I didn't use the cushion and my hip ached noticeably ! Reminder: Do not leave your cushion on your seat by accident ! I did that upon landing in Scotland and had to backtrack to the plane and have a steward retrieve my cushion from seat 18K ! Too easy to forget you were sitting in/on luxury ! I will never fly long haul flights again without my ComfiLife Ergo-Gel Airplane Seat Cushion !

Definitely a comfortable seating addition when travelling, easy to carry, fairly light weight and a good seat size for the average person.

I bought this for a 7+ hour flight to help relieve pressure on the sciatica. It became uncomfortable after the first 30 minutes. I tried several different positions and adjustments but it didn't help. I ended up just using a memory foam neck pillow to sit on. The quality of the product is very good. If you don't suffer with back issues this would probably be a good product for you.

This worked really well for me during days long car ride. I’m a senior and we drive cross country. I start to get really uncomfortable after a couple of days in the car. I have only tried it locally so far, it was very comfortable. My only complaint, hence less one star, is that it needs to be offered in a larger size—could be linger.. It’s wide enough but I would love it to cover a larger area of the car’s seat. It may be perfect for the smaller airplane seats it is advertised for.
