Omelet cooker
It is just like the one I had before that wore out after many years of use.

Not Really Omelettes
This microwave pan cooks (scrambled) eggs with additions, but result really is not an omelette. More specifically, added ingredients have to be mixed with eggs rather than being filler with eggs folded over on top. Hence, 4 stars rather than 5.Adding 1 1/2 tblspoons milk per large egg and running microwave at 60% power results in softer (fluffier?) eggs. Otherwise, eggs come out overly firm or with undercooked spots.

I like it
I have a microwave with turntable. So, I followed the package directions. I divided my beaten egg between the halves of the omelet maker; put the open gadget into the microwave for 1 minute. And then I took it out, put some packaged shredded cheese and pre-cooked bacon bits down the center of one half, closed the gadget, returned it to the microwave for 30 seconds, and lunch is ready. I really like it. Eggs were good but perhaps can even improve. I enjoy thoroughly cooked eggs. That's what I had. That said, I will be using this omelet frequently. It is so easy, so good, and easy to clean. It gives no smell at all. If I use using a cheap microware at work, I would add a few more seconds here and there. After I close the lid up for the last part of the cooking cycle, it will cook the last minute as written in on the package. Next time, I will try in future will be to use one number lower on the power level. I think that is better than trying to guess the optimum cooking time. I will cut a slice of cheese into 4 narrow strips and arrange them along the center of one side after the initial cooking. I think that will be easier than trying to keep the mini-shreds from falling off the cooked half-omelet. It is kind of fun to mess around to find my way for the best.

Best little gadget ever.
I'm not a gadget person but this is the best thing ever. I use it to cook anything in the microwave. Great to cook fresh or frozen veggies too.

Makes it easy to have a quick, healthy, delicious breakfast. Excellent for picky eaters!
I bought this after buying and LOVING the single egg cooker. I have some hungry guys to feed in the morning, but they both like different things on their eggs. This will cook 3 eggs and toppings like (pre-cooked) bacon, ham, veggies, (I cook batches and put in plastic bags in fridge for the week), for 1:30, then add cheese on both sides, do another 30 seconds, then close it and cook for another 30 seconds or so until desired firmness. They omelet will fluff up nicely. If you use 2 eggs, the cook time is shorter, but my guys like big omelets. This saves me from dirtying lots of pans. It works better than my countertop plug in omelet machine that cost me a LOT more than this little tool.It washes up easy, just a quick wipe, no matter if the cheese leaks all over the place. I've never put in dishwasher because I tend to baby the dishes that I love most.A word of caution: Don't just grab the opening handle and open it slowly. A lot of steam will come out from the opening. I just a thin oven glove to open it quickly, then give it a few seconds to let the steam dissipate. After that, it's easy to tip it up and slide the omelet right onto the plate.I've had it for a few months and we've used it plenty. Very pleased. Would be happy to buy again.

Just what I Wanted
I’m using this different than normal. Wanted something to microwave a two egg scramble in a shape that fits a tortilla. This does that perfectly.

Used With Liquid Eggs
I used the pan with liquid eggs and made an omelet two different ways within a few minutes of each other. Microwave was set to full strength. The first omelet was made according to the instructions: eggs on both sides, cook for a couple of minutes, add veggies, cheese, etc. and then complete the cooking. Liquid eggs were evenly distributed on each side. In the end, it was a bit of a challenge to get the eggs out. Maybe I didn't leave them in long enough. Not sure. The other approach involved putting the liquid eggs on one side only, adding all of the veggies, cheese, etc. before cooking and then closing the pan. I cooked for a couple of minutes and checked once or twice to see how the cooking was progressing. This approach produced a more "fluffy" omelet, easier to remove with a plastic spatula. this approach seemed to produce a better omelet.I will probably try again to follow the instructions just to see.

Not non-stick
This worked great for the first 2 or 3 omelettes, then things started sticking. When I folded the pan, the mixture was still in it's respective sections and not folded like an omelette should be. It's pretty much useless now. I'll be making my omelettes in a saute pan in the future. This was a waste of money.
