I always wante dto be friends with my backyard birds and my golden doggy love them too! Finally decided to get my own bitd house and right beside my window haha so i can watching them while im cooking! And this thing records in HD which is great. Design looks clean and just a perfect size for my window. Live it.

We split our router to accommodate this 2.4 ghc birdhouse camera and in doing so it messed up all of our 5 ghc equipment in the house. I wish this 2.4 ghc requirement was explicitly informed on the description as now we have to fix our router.

We have had birdhouses in our yard for years and enjoyed watching the bluebirds nest in them, the eggs hatch, ad the fledgings fly. We take a lot of precautions to be sure we're not creating a situation where they will nest and then be an easy target for predators like raccoons and snakes. For that reason, we always mount our houses on poles with baffles a distance from any shrub or tree that would make it easy to get to the house.So that's the rub with this house. It is very well made but I'm making some modifications so I can pole mount it. Then, I don't want to try to run the cord for the camera from the birdhouse to an electrical outlet (I suspect a mower would eat it uprather quickly in our situation) so I'm going to look into using a solar panel to power the camera.ith those caveats, this is a nice house. But I'd be sure to think through how and where you plan to mount it and run the cord before making the investment.

It's built of quality materials. It feels like it will last for many years to come. It's easy to hang on a post or a tree.It comes with an SD card. It gives you the option to use cloud storage, but it's not required. I didn't order other bird houses, because they require a monthly subscription.It comes with a long usb cable and a power adapter. I didnt want to put it right next to my house, so I purchased a 5 Volt / 5 Watt solar panel on Amazon for $18. I put it on my flowering pear tree on the opposite side if my yard. The solar panel supplies it the power it needs during daylight hours.The app is easy to install and it automatically detected the camera. I like that the camera talks to you when it's booting up and let's you know when it's connected. The camera has a magnetic base and sticks to the metal plate inside the bird house. It's easy to position the camera so that it points at the door or looking straight down at the bottom of the bird house.I'm excited to view the birds that will eventually make their nest in the house.

This bird house fits the requirements for Eastern Bluebird nesting, though I may do a bit of reconfiguring. I set this up as soon as I got it, and so far, the solar and camera are working great. The build quality of the house is very good, with no open seams or unfinished surfaces. The camera paired quickly with the app on my phone and I am getting great quality live video 24/7. Now all I need is a tenant!

It's still early and I'm very hopeful that a little mommy bird will take up residence soon! I braved one of my very straight-trunked trees by getting on my 15 foot ladder to mount it high enough. You have no idea how much I HATE heights to get up that high, but I wanted to ensure that any bird looking through the neighborhood for a clean, easy-to-take-up residence will see this house and decide it's move-in ready. I was able to get the camera mounted with a 32 GB micro SD card and then synced to the Tris Home app with no trouble. Now, it's just a waiting game, but I'm positive it won't be too long as I did fill my seed bird feeders below this house - I mean, groceries AND a new home? What more do the birds want?!?
