Amercian made and it works for me!
Nice to see an American made product and a very good one at that. The fabric is thick and fat like a leg warmer or something. It fits my rifle/carbine very well and appears like it will do a good job protecting it. I am happy. I would have given it a five star rating but interior threads can catch on protruding parts of the gun and make covering and uncovering the gun a little work to ensure no broken threads. Not a big deal as I am very pleased with this product and is what I expected from the description.

Good protection.
Long and thick, offering good protection. A little difficult to stretch over long guns with scopes or grips.

Misleading and not that great
Pretty much everything about this was wrong.For starters, they are not 52 inches. They're 35 when slack and I could barely stretch one out to 46 inches. If the rifle had a bolt or a scope, forget about it.The material inside the socks snagged on almost everything and tore out strings from the material.Overall the quality is not inspiring.

US made, a great thing, but...
I like US made goods but this sock is tough to stretch. I have Allen socks and they easily fit a multitude of rifles. I put this on an H&R Model 12 (.22 Target bolt action rifle) and it took a bit of stretching to get it to cover the whole rifle. I hate to push things and I don't have to do that with Allen models. Also I tried to put it on a Marlin 39 lever 22 with a scope. Same thing. It is an effort that I prefer not to do. I am into easy and this is not. It is fine for protecting long scopes such as old style Unertls, but I doubt it it would fit on a bolt gun with such a scope. Having more material on this would make it easy to put on and off.

Great gun sock
Great product, and a lot heavier material than I expected given the reasonable price. Fits my un-scoped ARs & Model 94 style lever guns. Have not tried it on some of the longer-scoped bolt action rifles, but worked great on the above mentioned.

Sorry, got this order confused with another set from Arcturus gun socks. Works great with regular stocked rifles and shotguns, with scopes, not pistol grips.
