Authentic-looking and kinda scary! It keeps the birds away and might scare your Amazon delivery driver if placed on or near your front porch. Lol. The only complaint is that I wish it was a little more flexible - the plastic is a bit hard and it comes in one position - basically coiled. It is bendable, but would have to brace it or something to hold a different pose if you wanted to do that. Having said that, it works just fine the way it is. I recommend!

Expensive and not at all as large as they should be for the money. I use them to keep the ducks out of my pool and have never had a problem with a fake snake, these are not doing this. Ducks aren't getting smarter....snakes are getting smaller!

From distance it looks real. The only disadvantage: it is pre-shaped and even if you try to uncoil it will go back to the original shape again. Also it's a bit short.

I put this in my garden to scare birds and rabbits off. It worked!

I was seriously disappointed by this replica. The Description reads "rubber" snake. I was expecting a flexible rubber snake. The snake I received was perhaps a hard rubber but it was actually more like a hard molded vinyl toy. There is no flex in this product. I am seriously disappointed.

This pseudo snake was part of my husband's prize winning 'scary' jack-o-latern at his work place. Great fun. The snake is flexible and sturdy. I had to mess with it a lot to get it all put together and it stood up to all the abuse. Pretty real looking too. An admirer from the rattlesnake state of New Mexico.

This is definitely a good mid-tier snake toy. I bought is to keep my neighbor's cat from crapping in my yard and as far as I can tell, this snake has looked real enough to fulfill this purpose.Edit: I guess it works better than I thought it would because I've scared myself and a few guests unintentionally a few times over the past few months after I forgot about it. The cats have taken their business elsewhere.
