Practice Makes Perfect
First, it’s important to know this does not come assembled. If you don’t have some patience and a hot glue gun, I would advise against it. However, after putting a few of these together, I got the hang of it.For the price, you can’t beat it. It’s great for any party or celebration and can be reused over and over again IF you are careful and keep it stored properly. It is very flimsy and works best leaning against a wall in my opinion. Any small child falling into this will literally break it, as it’s made of flimsy styrofoam-like pieces. That being said, the lights are beautiful. Parents and kids love it, and we received so many compliments.

Definitely a crafter's DIY project - Not sturdy enough to store and it is a one-time build
Positive- Finished product looks good - Makes a good photo or party propCons-You have to have some crafting experience - using glue or glue gun (LOW HEAT ONLY!). I used some clear packing tape on the flat seams at the start to help firm up the back of the letter. This was not a "tab A fits to slot B" - it does require some patience to build (hesitate to use the word "assemble").- This is made from crafter's styrofoam paneling - it has just enough strength to hold together - would not use outdoors in windy weather.- Once you make it, using glue or glue gun, you are stuck with the finished product. I can't see any way to build it so it can "break down." Maybe low-profile Velcro tape for some parts.- It really has to be protected because it can be crushed easily and probably cannot tolerate being in an hot environment (because of the tape or glue). If you want to keep it, will need to be indoors and protected from something ending up on top of it or leaning against it.- In short, expect limited re-use unless you are a photographer, drama teacher, or throw parties all the time. It may not last between showings and probably would need some glue touch ups/repairs between uses.

Easier assembling with two!
I put this together for my daughter’s birthday alone and made some mistakes that I probably wouldn’t have made with some help holding the pieces and hot gluing. I got some of the hot glue running across the J at the bottom and I could not peel it off and fix it. Once you’ve applied the hot glue you cannot take off. Screwing the bulbs on was the easiest part! The hot gluing and arranging the pieces took me the longest as I wasn’t sure if the pieces went along the side or glued on top of the J piece and that’s where I ended up messing up. It still looks good, but if I was to do this again I would have had help, someone apply glue and other person align the pieces over the glue at the same time. The letter J does not stand on its own, it needs to lay against a wall or something to prop it up. I gave this a 4 of 5 stars mainly for the assembly not being so enjoyable.

put your working gloves on
I have a lot of feelings about this light up letter. Yes, I eventually put it together and it turned out decent. Was it worth my time and effort... I guess. Our friend's kid liked it. Would I get it again? NO. It took me about an hour to assemble. I think I'm realizing now that I'm just not the puzzle assembling kind of person. It was a very frustrating time. Suggestions for those who like to craft and like this, hot glue it from the back. The plastic melts. I know this should have been obvious.. but it was a trial and error. I would have put less stars for assembly but I feel like it was mostly me who just hates doing crafty things and putting things together. It doesn't seem very sturdy. I would be surprise if it lasted, knowing the kids will mess with it.

Easy Assembly, Clean Final Product
This letter E is a great little marquee. It is for sure all assembly required! This letter it's together well and assembles easily. As far as gluing it together the double sided tape isn't strong enough but you for sure need a low temp glue gun because high temp melts the material.

A nice effect
I used these for a quinceanera. The instructions were not included so I looked on YouTube and found a video of one that was similar. You will need a glue gun and a helper. Don’t try this the day of at the hall like we did, it’s time consuming. Do it ahead of time. It also needed something to keep it propped up. I leaned it against an all, otherwise it will fall over. The effect is nice, and when the lights turned out for the dance it really looked great.

Ok-ish
To start, the final product looks good, but goodness, we need directions in the box. This is not an easy assembly product, you will need glue guns extra set of hands and patience. A lot of patience.
