Black metal is very light weight and thin, looks like plastic. The “brass” looks like brown paint. We are building a house and I purchased these lights as a statement piece above our island. Lights were shipped to the new house and hung by the electrician. As soon as I saw them I said absolutely not. They look cheap and the led light was a blue white that made everything look like a hospital room. The returned was approved but after the seller received the lights, I was only refunded half of the price because there is a 50% restocking fee. There was no mention of that when I requested a return.
