The complete guide
Listen up, I know you are paging through what seems to be an endless number of wireless magsafe chargers for your phone and come on, they all look about the same and they all definitely do the same thing, although they may go about it in slightly different ways. But they all have to adhere to certain standards that the phone manufacturers have set up. So here are a few questions I had and I’m here to answer them because you may have the same questions. And unfortunately the ads sometimes don’t tell you this important stuff. WHAT IS IT This device is designed to charge your magsafe-enabled phone (in other words iphone) wirelessly. It may or may not charge other devices that are equipped with wireless charging capabilities but that’s not its main function. The design of this one is that it is basically a disc that adheres magnetically to your phone, it has a removable USB cable (which is a big advantage over those that have a permanently attached cable) and it does not come with a wall charger. The design of this one is what the technical sources say is currently (August 2024) the optimal power required, although that will probably change when the new 2025 models are introduced at the end of 2024. HOW DOES IT WORK You stick it to the magnets on the back of your phone and plug it into a charger. It’s called wireless because it charges your phone wirelessly, not because it doesn’t use a wire to plug into the wall. That’s another kind of charger that has a built in battery, those are usually referred to as phone boosters. DOES IT WORK There is no absolute answer for that question, the measurable performance is going to depend on the model and condition of your phone and its battery, what kind of wall charger you use and if you have your phone in a case (and how thick that case is). I don’t get a lot of value out of reviews that rave about how good or bad something works, they’re not me and I’m not them. The best answer is to buy it and try it and keep it if you like it. IS IT SMALL I’m not sure that’s really a question and I don’t understand why the seller wastes so much time on it. Magsafe changers are small, the disc type are all small, in fact there are several smaller than this one. Who cares? That extra millimeter isn’t going to make any difference to me when I travel with it, and it makes zero difference when I’m at home. Yes, it’s small. WHAT ELSE DOES IT DO I’m glad you asked because that’s the number one reason I hit the buy button. This is one of a handful of magsafe chargers out there that has a built-in kickstand so I can prop my phone up at the correct angle to use it as an alarm clock. I looked closely at all of the others and there was only one, seriously only one, that came close to this and the only thing that swayed me was that the other one was very thin and I thought it would be a hassle to pull my phone off the stand every morning. The extra thickness and the squared off shape of this one makes it a lot easier to simply twist it off. WHAT’S IT MADE OF It seems to be made entirely of a plastic material but whatever it is has the benefit that it is both lightweight and rugged at the same time. IS IT DURABLE I don’t know if a truck can run over it but it does seem to be well designed for travel, which is mainly the reason I bought it. The easel stand folds neatly into the unit and the rounded corners not only keep it from rolling around in my luggage but as mentioned, it is far easier to twist it off the magnet on the back of my phone than any disc shaped charger out there. WHO IS LISEN I’m not sure I can answer who they actually are but I can say the stuff they sell isn’t generic, it all seems to be unique to them and almost always designed with better ideas than the endless stream of companies with no imagination. I hope they listen because I’m going to share a couple of fixes later on in my review that make this product even better. This is only the second product I’ve bought from them but my impression is that they are not a no-name generic brand. From what I’ve seen their products are made far better than what I would expect at the price and they are one of the most innovative companies out there. They seem to have a good grasp on how to make magsafe devices and maybe that’s the bottom line. I think they are a brand that’s not well known yet but if they keep on being as good as they are I think they are going to be one of the leading suppliers of phone accessories. THEY SHOULDA Lisen missed the boat on two things that would have made a really nice gadget into something even better. One is that being small and light is a good thing until you actually use it to prop up your phone and you realize the hard plastic foot slides all over your desk or nightstand. Boo. I improved on that by cutting a tiny strip of self-adhesive rubber pad and sticking it where the foot meets the table. Presto, no more slipping around and it doesn’t affect the use of the thing in any way. My second idea is that some of the one star reviews complain that they don’t like having the charging cable coming out of the left (or right) because of the way they have their desktop or nightstand arranged. No worries, I simply added a right-angle USB-C adapter easily available from dozens of different sources. But wouldn’t it have been nice if Lisen had listened and made the cable they included with a right-angle tip so there would never be a concern which direction the cable exits? YES NO MAYBE Ok this question is a little redundant because I already answered the question if you should buy it. I never give a yes or no answer to that because I don’t know you and how you’re going to use it but I will say that it is a yes for me. It was a last minute decision because once again I forgot to plug my phone in overnight and woke up to an almost dead battery. A wireless charging stand is the answer, I know that, but all of the half dozen ones I own got accidentally put in storage in another city and when I go to bed at night I never remember to plug my phone in, plus I’m spoiled, I like having my phone turn in an alarm clock if I prop it up at the right angle and this stand does exactly that. I was down to deciding between about 5 different brands when I remembered how absolutely satisfied I am with the Lisen magsafe stand I installed in the center console of my car and when I saw they made this it was an instant decision. I like it and it was a yes for me.

Great Design - Fantastic Travel Companion
Once in a great while, you come across a well designed product and you just have to give kudos to the designer and the company. The LISEN MagSafe charger is one such product. It is super compact, very functional and can charge my iPhone, Apple Watch and Airpods. I travel a lot and I have been using the Anker - MagGo 3-in-1 Qi2 15W which is the footprint of a thicker deck of cards, about 7 oz in weight and costs $100. The LISEN blows those specs out the water. It is a 2.5" square, about half the thickness of a pack of cards and weighs less than 2 oz. It comes with a very nice braided cable but no charger. The LISEN has a strong magnet. It holds and charges my Airpods pro in the tent mode. There are ways to charge your products (see product photos) and it sits stable when in the tent mode. It is truly designed for a traveler. Recommended!

Great for Traveling!
This thing is light and compact. It is even more compact when you fold it up! (I ended up buying a second for a friend) I have kind of a medium duty dual output charger and it works great with this device. It is now my go to travel charger. USB-C female on the side allows you to plug it in to your existing charger infrastructure and they also supply a USB-C to USB-C (male) cord. It is a little tippy in portrait orientation, but that is to be expected since it is ultra compact. Quite stable in landscape mode. The magnet works fine right through my Otterbox defender case. The product is easy to pack and well priced. I just leave it in my suitcase. Durability over time will tell, but so far so good. I Recommend.

Great Customer Service and Responsive
I was excited about the LISEN MagSafe Charger Stand because it looked like the perfect all-in-one solution for my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. At first, it worked great—sleek design, strong magnetic hold, and convenient for travel. Unfortunately, it stopped working much earlier than expected. The charging became inconsistent, and eventually, it wouldn’t power my devices at all. For the price, I expected better durability. Customer service was responsive and fixed my issue immediately, which really changed my experience with the product. Their quick support made a big difference. Recommendation: With the excellent customer service and resolution, I can recommend this product. Just keep in mind that if you run into issues, their support team is very helpful.

A solid little charger/stand thing
All I wanted was a phone stand with minimal footprint that could easily flip between holding things vertical and horizontal, allowed for a decent amount of angle adjustment and could also become a wireless charger, preferably a fast one, when needed. That's not asking too much, right? For this little guy, no, it's not. This one does all of that and so far has been doing it quite well. The charger itself is small and light but seems to be well made and comes with a nice braided USB-C to USB-C cable that is much better quality than those you usually see bundled with things like this. It's plenty long enough for most needs, actually rated to handle the 60w needed for the fast charging that's advertised and even includes an attached USB-C to USB-A adapter, which is a plus. Sure, I may already have more of these adapters than I could ever need, but they're small and really easy to lose, whereas this one is attached. like, securely attached. It's the little things... My only complaint is that it can sometimes be a little tricky to pull off the charger one-handed without bringing the whole thing up with you, or the cable, being as stout as it is, pushing the charger around or even pulling it off of my desk. It does have some cute little rubber feet that help it stay put when laid flat, but I rarely, if ever use it like that since I primarily bought this to be a stand, not just a charger. So, with that said, it would be really nice to have some little rubbery bits on the edges that it sits on when being used as a stand, like how it's pictured in just about every single image of the device on it's product page. But, to be honest, those complaints feel pretty nit-picky since all that is really just a side effect of how small this thing is, how well the magnets work to keep your phone secured and the quality of the cable. Otherwise, it's been well worth the cost and highly recommended.

Quality brand
Love this brand, quality product easy to use and lug around since it's pretty small. Sleek design and look magnet pretty strong and it charges pretty good. Though it does get warm. The stand is nice and it's stands pretty good.

Slow charging speed, but convenient and portable.
This little charger is a convenient tool in a relatively slow package. There are two charging stations, the main one to charge the phone, and the watch charger that can be pulled out from the bottom. The watch charger is fine. Works as intended. The Qi charging for the phone, however… is very slow. It’s usable, and it will maintain your charge if you use the phone while it’s plugged in, but it is by no means fast. I get a slow charge warning in battery settings while using the cord that came with the charger and an apple macbook 60w power supply.

Going to have to buy again...
I bought this for my wife to solve the "I forgot to charge my phone again last night" problem I hear far too often. She really likes it, but I'm about to have to buy another one because my 14 year old stole it for his own use. I noticed he was using it and saw he had the cable plugged in to the power bank and his phone. I was like, "what are you doing?" He says, "charging my phone". I said, "well, I just got that for mom, but why do you have it plugged in?". He said "so it charges..." whilst giving me the typical 'I'm a teen and know more than you' face. I then showed him that it charges without the cable, watched how it literally blew his mind and got some sweet dad retribution.

Waste of money , I feel robbed .
Totally waste of money, Product is very cheap in quality and high in price and take 7 hour to charge my Iphone , I also Misguided by Amzone who sell such low level products on their platform and now making money is their biggest policy. I feel robbed by Amazone which was a faithful platform for online shopping.
