Truly Amazing and Effective Knee Brace for A Long Distance Running
I run a long distance and have recently developed a severe "runner's knee" on both sides of my knees. I already have Osgood-Schlatter disease on my left knee which I also fractured (and has healed) last year, so realized that I'd need a good knee support if I run more than 10 miles. I have tried THREE (3) knee support braces/compression sleeves including "PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve" for that purpose, and wanted to list them for comparison. (1) Breg "FreeRunner". Formerly prescribed for the fracture and designed for an athlete/runner to help with their rehab. It did a great job staying in place during my 13-mile run. But it did NOT completely keep my knee pain-free as it normally would with stairs and biking. I started to feel the same discomfort --> disturbing pain around 10 miles. The brace is bulky so occasionally rubbed against the other thigh - which is a big NO-NO. (2) PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve (this product): This is a BRACE that is in a form of a compression sleeve. It holds my kneecap in place, protects my Osgood-Schlatter bump (bone protrusion), prevents abnormal gait due to the uneven pulls by the thigh muscles, keeps the optimal temperature inside, allows FULL range of motion. I can flex my knee all the way. It is nice and tight but never uncomfortable. I wore this on my problem left knee and ran a full marathon race this past weekend. It stayed on without ever sliding/rolling down or chafing for the entire 26.2 miles and I did not have to worry or think about it. Most importantly - Absolutely NO PAIN during and post race. I was SO amazed. (3). Physix Gear Knee Support Brace: this is more of a firm compression knee sleeve than a brace. It did also an amazing job in protecting my right knee which was suffering runner's knee. It fits like your favorite compression knee-high sock with no limit in movement and is definitely a more comfortable wear than PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve (#2). But the anti-slip grips of this knee sleeve at the top is tighter than PowerLix's and may feel a bit too tight. It is however never uncomfortable and the sleeve stayed on without rolling or chafing for the entire 26.2 miles. It kept my right knee totally PAIN-FREE during and post race. [OVERALL] Both "PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve" (this product) & "Physix Gear Knee Support Brace" did an amazing job and are highly recommended for long-distance runners. They stabilize the knee joint and prevent pain/inflammation by right support and compression but never restrict the movement or stop the blood flow - even for hours! *Sizing: I took the measurements 4 & 5 inches above the top of the BENT KNEE in a sitting position. They fell between 15.3 -15.7 inch. So according to the sizing chart provided by the company, I got a MEDIUM for "PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve" and a SMALL for "Physix Gear Knee Support Brace". They fit perfectly. *Length: According to the product specification, "PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve" is a bit longer than "Physix Gear Knee Support Brace". But due to the very firm fabric of PoweLix and very stretchy fabric of Physix, Physix knee sleeve ends up slightly taller than PoweLix when I wore them. *Color: Grey/Black for PowerLix (this product) is almost entirely black (see photo - upper right). It doesn't look like the product photo on this webpage and thought I got a wrong product! Not sure about Blue which I didn't get. I hope they both last long!!! Thank you for reading my long review :-) -------------- UPDATE 12/18/2023 ----------------- I'm still using POWERLIX Leg Sleeve (this product) and have run 7 marathons and hundreds of runs with them since the first purchase in 2018. Nothing wrong with running with knee braces although some sports experts may preach that you need to train your own muscles and correct your form and such. You've got your personal reasons for needing special support for your knees, and these sleeves do the job. I replace the sleeves every year and am on #5 :)

Ultra Supportive Knee Sleeve- Review from a Runner
I've been using the Knee Brace/sleeve for weeks now, as needed, and I'm impressed with its performance. As a regular runner, I've struggled with knee pain/discomfort and instability, especially on longer runs or during 5Ks where I over exert myself and lose form to make for better time. This brace has made a significant difference. *Pros:* 1. *Excellent Support:* The brace provides firm, comfortable support without feeling too restrictive. 2. *Reduced Pain:* My knee pain has decreased noticeably, allowing me to run longer distances without discomfort. 3. *Breathable Material:* The moisture-wicking fabric keeps my knee dry and cool during intense runs. 4. *Flexible Fit:* Stretchy material makes for an easy fit without losing support or form. 5. *Durable:* Well-made and shows no signs of wear after repeated use. *Cons:* 1. *Initial Discomfort:* Took some time to get used to wearing a brace while running. *Recommendation:* If you're a runner struggling with knee issues, I highly recommend this Knee Brace. It's a game-changer for stability and pain relief. And it’s become a must have for my longer runs, ensuring my knee is in great condition to run again the very next day. While it may take some getting used to, the benefits far outweigh any initial discomfort. *Would I buy again?* Absolutely!

Comfortable, durable, stylish and easy to get used to.
I first ordered these in April 2020 (for $19) in blue along with other pairs (in black and beige) between 2019 and 2021 for my physically intensive job and would have to say they held up well! I combined them with “Run Forever” calf compression sleeves for maximum effect and used both full-time while bending, stretching, twisting, throwing and running through everything from cardboard to metal and leg and knee pain were the least of my problems. At first I had the occasional slip and wear marks but as I got better at my job and my legs thinned out, these incidents became few and far between. I would caution against using them around sharp metal as unfortunately that easily produced tearing, but that is to be expected especially after the amount of running, jumping, hopping and general malarkey that was expected at work and may not apply to the average user. Also these sleeves are easy to wash and resistant to shrinkage, I would just move them periodically when air drying to keep them supple. Durable, functional, stylish and able to stand up to heavy use but susceptible to tearing and stiffness when air drying, the “POWERLIX Knee Compression Sleeve - Best Knee Brace for Men & Women – Knee Support for Running, Basketball, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Gym, Workout, Sports – Please Check Sizing Chart” sleeves get a respectable 4/5 stars!

Perfect! Exactly What I Needed
I just received the PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve. It fits perfectly...I was a little worried that it might be too tight since I'm at the max measurement for the sleeve. It is firmly tight but not so much that I feel it's cutting off circulation. I'm sure it will loosen slightly the more I wear it, which is fine. When I pulled it out of the packaging I was a little worried. To be honest, it doesn't look like much. Since this is the first item of this type I've ever purchased I didn't really know what to expect, but at first look, I didn't think it would give me as much relief as it did. I'm really glad I didn't go with my first instinct and purchase something a lot more bulkier and bigger...and much more expensive. This compression sleeve was all I needed. As soon as I put it on, I felt immediate relief. I can actually walk now without a limp and the stabbing pain I had on the outside left of my knee just magically went away. As far as fit-and-finish, the PowerLix is very well put together. The fabric knitting of the compression piece of the sleeve is nice and tight, there's no looseness or missed stitching anywhere that I can see. The upper and lower edges of the sleeve have a nice beefy stitch that holds everything together. I can't see anything happening that would cause this product to fall apart or not work as it should. The upper and lower silicone bands that keep the sleeve in place on my legs are nice and thick which makes it very comfortable to wear. They're not so thick as to make it bulky or anyting, but definitely keep the sleeve in place no matter if I'm sitting, standing, walking, or working out in the yard. I haven't yet noticed any bunching up behind the knee, and I haven't had to readjust once it's on. As far as wearing it underneath clothing, it's great! It doesn't snag or catch on any of the pants I've worn with it, and you can't even tell that it's there unless you know it is. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and can't recommend it enough. If you're having problems or pains in your knees, this is the sleeve you need to use...don't waste money "trying" to find a good one. This is it!

Good quality
They are very helpful with knee pains,I always used a medium size, but this pair is a little tight,I have been wearing them for two days,I notice after walking for half hour they start slipping a bit.

Good fit and great support.
Got this for my son for wrestling season and it is awesome. I t offers o much support and great compression. He loves that it is longer than most knee braces so it seems to stay in place better than others. The material is very durable which is nice. While it is longer, it does not seem to be super bulky which is also nice. Definitely worth the money in our opinion. Highly recommend.

Great recovery knee sleeve
Great knee sleeve. Well suited for running, walking and working out. I recommend them if you need that extra measure of support especially after an injury.

4.5 Stars - Great Product
I recently bought two knee braces - this one from POWERLIX, and one from UFlex Athletics. Powerlix gets four and a half stars. The sizing chart seems accurate, unless you mess up the measurement in some way, and the knee brace fits well. It also stays put, which should be a given, but isn't always. About five minutes after putting the brace on, I was feeling a bit of discomfort behind my knee, but this went away as I got into my run. It's only been a week since I received the brace, so I've only run in it twice, but can already tell it makes a difference in helping me avoid the tendonitis I get now that I'm in my mid-fifties. I wish the brace had a little more stability for lateral movement, but it's as good as I've seen for a fabric brace. I like to do a little yoga or stretching after my run, and the movement during deep knee bends is fairly good. Any fabric brace, if it's tight enough to support, will be somewhat uncomfortable behind the knee as the fabric bunches and folds, but with the more sheer sections this wasn't painful. In comparison to the UFlex, the Powerlix is sized better at the top. The UFlex cuts in more, and while both FEEL the same at the top, the UFlex looks dreadful. Maybe if you have leg muscles of steel and five percent body fat it would be okay. In all other ways, they're pretty much interchangeable. I'm more than happy to pay an extra couple bucks to avoid having nuclear mushroom clouds happening above my knees! (For the record, I'm 5'7" and weigh 125 lbs., and ordered the medium.)
