8 Inch Mini Monitor, Small HDMI Screen Display,1280 * 800 Resolution Portable Monitor for PC Laptop Compatible with Raspberry Pi Game Consoles

I got this to use my PSone Classic at work, and for other HDMI related things later. It’s better than I expected for picture quality and sound. You just plug and play; plug in your cords and turn on the device and it came on automatically. I anticipated needing to use my own speaker but the built in one is working very well for this. There’s no internal battery, so you must keep the power cable with you. It seems to be low power, so it doesn’t get warm even after I used it for 7 hours. The stand that comes with it I’m using and it’s good too. Basically it’s worked out, and nothing has gone wrong yet. I hope it lasts cause it’s very good.

This is my 3rd purchase of a mini monitor and my 2nd from this brand. Setup is pretty straightforward, but you may need adapters if adding to a video card that has limited HDMI as compared to Monitor-Port. USB powers the monitor, and the output is HDMI-to-HDMI or an adapter input. Great look, quality, and visuals. Recommended.

Using as a secondary monitor, works pretty good. Sound is from the built in speakers. Slightly tinny, but not bad at all. Picked up the stand from 5 below for cheap. I would recommend this if you need something small that still functions well. Comes with everything you need Cables, stand, etc. I just prefer this stand over the one in the box. If I had to change anything else, I would get cables that are more flexible, with the 90 degree angled plug for a cleaner look.

Complete junk. Don’t waste your money. Unit won’t even power on. Tried multiple power supply’s and multiple different power cords. Power light lights up blue for a split second and goes to red.

Seems like a good display, simple and serves the purpose. Hdmi 60fps standard resplution in windows and adrenalin.

I wanted a small monitor to connect to a Roku so that I could have a mini TV on my home office desktop. After trying a couple of other brands, I purchased this Viewmei 8" monitor and am very pleased with it. The bright little screen looks great. Audio is tinny sounding but that's to be expected for such a small monitor. Overall I would label the speakers as adequate. Fortunately the monitor has a 3.mm jack, allowing headphones or external speakers to be connected. The metal case feels sturdy and doesn't get hot after a day of use. An included stand is a nice bonus. It has a low profile design, which works great, especially since all of the monitor's connections are on the side instead of the bottom. Speaking of connections, the monitor's HDMI port is a mini - something not specified in the Amazon description. I use a short mini HDMI to HDMI angled 90° adapter cable to connect my Roku.

Using for a small Atari video games console, works great, internal speakers work pretty good.

Works good but makes a very annoying high pitch ringing noise when you turn the monitor off with the button.
