Effective Trap
I found this style of mouse trap on YouTube. I wanted to get this style of trap for its resetting feature. I purchased this specific trap because it comes with a ramp (instead of having to build one), and because it's made of plastic making it easier to clean and store. So far, this trap has been great for me so I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews.Upon receiving the trap, I noticed a few things. The plastic is sufficient quality for the job. Not amazing quality but also not overly cheap. The ramp has a good angle. I'm not a mouse expert and I have no idea if there are ramps that would be too steep for them to climb, but some of the traps I looked at had very steep ramps compared this one. The magnetic system (a screw that attaches to a magnet at the base of the plank) didn't seem to be that good. I played with it a while and it seemed like the plank would have a hard time resetting itself once triggered. Even after adjusting the screw, it still seemed like the trap may not reset itself. The pair of disposable gloves that came in package are cheap, but it is nice to have an initial pair if you don't have any gloves on hand. With all of that said, I've had great success with this trap. I set up the trap in an outdoor storage room and have caught 3 mice to date (2 one night and 1 a second night). In all 3 catches, the trap has reset itself without any problems. Two of the mice were the same size, and one was a little smaller, so the size of the mouse didn't affect the trap resetting itself. After these catches, nothing has touched the peanut butter I set out, so my mouse problems appear to be solved... at least for now.Overall, this trap has been great and has done exactly what I needed it to do. Besides the review, I also want to share a few things I have done that may help you out if you purchase this trap. Again, I'm not a mouse expert, so take these tips with a grain of salt.1) The purpose of the gloves is to keep your scent off the trap. I have no idea if this helps but I have used disposable nitrile glove consistently when handling every part of the trap .2) I believe the directions tell you to set this trap up along a wall. Since mice run along walls, this makes it more likely that they will use the trap. I set mine up close to a corner where I know the mice travel (lots of poop).3) You may have to try out different baits, but peanut butter is definitely the best for this trap. When a mouse tries to eat it, the trap will dump the mouse and reset itself leaving the peanut butter. Any bait like peanut butter will work for the resetting feature; the stickier the better.4) You will need to adjust the screw to find the sweet spot. I tried make it as medium as possible, and that has been the sweet spot for me.I hope all of this information helps you out. I'll update this review with any new information or issues I have with this trap.

It works
I have tried a couple different types of mouse traps and plank style items and this one always gets me results. I use a 5 gallon bucket and put enough water so that it couldn't possibly stand up. I put a few sunflower seeds or peanuts on the edge of the plank and keep it in the basement. Every now and then, I find a dead one in there. I just take the bucket outside and dump it out in the bushes and refill it again. I wasn't sure they'd climb up the ramp since it's kind of steep, but sure enough they did. I will say that sometimes it doesn't go back up after dropping the mouse, but it's not an issue really.

This product beat a professional exterminator
My office was having mouse issues for about 3 months before I purchased this. We are a corporation and have a professional company that takes care of pest control. After 3 months of people finding mouse droppings on desks and chew marks on computers I had enough and decided to give this a shot.Day 1, Bait was completely gone. This is when I realized i needed to adjust the screw to increase the sensitivity.Day 2, We caught 3. This was partly thanks to our cleaning staff who reset the trap.Day 3, We caught 1 more.I am unsure if we caught them all or if the the warmer weather let them feel the killing field. What I do know is we have been a week without any new evidence of rodents. This product does have a few design issues:1 It doesn't reset itself and requires you to reset the ramp2 It has limited sensitivity control. This is an issue with the small young mice.Even With those issues this was a great purchase and really helped bring the office together. We now have a score board to compare office staff performance against pest control.

Works great for some, But no luck for me when other traps were also set
I have not caught anything with this. When I tried to put a little peanut butter on the end(with Gloves on) It was teetering. And when I tapped it, it would go down and wouldn't pop back up half the time. So I left it the way it was, and I just never caught anything. But, I had also had many other traps set, And was catching them there. And I set this up next to my stove, so perhaps if I had this in a garage, or had no other traps, I'm sure I would have caught them. But I do wish the trap would go back to the flat position 100% of the time. Perhaps mine is slightly malfunctioning do to shipping errors or something. But I have seen videos of this working, so I know it works well when it's the only trap

Highly Recommend
One star off for a misleading label, this is one trap with one ramp in two pieces for adjustable length.Beyond that, this thing is awesome. The first bucket I used was escapable, short enough for the critter to jump out. I switched to a large orange home depot bucket and really like the results. I scrape a peanut along the ramp to leave residue and then leave a teaser treat on the diving board part. Works like a charm.I've been able to drive the little beasts to a "faraway land" to try their luck elsewhere, which I prefer to just killing them.I've gotten numerous uses from one purchase. I use the trap, then put it back in the box and it lives in my garage for the next time.

Works fine, but the trap reset mechanism could be better
The contraption seems to work well. You just can't put too much peanut butter at the end of the ledge, otherwise the trap won't set back on its own (The mechanism for the trap to reset itself could definitely be better).Full disclosure: We found 2 mice in our house over a two month period. Our cat killed both of them. To make sure that we do not have any more mice hiding anywhere, we bought 2 of this trap and set ithem up at different places in our house. We moved the traps a couple times now (after they've been stationary for a week) because we haven't caught anything. However, I believe that's due to us not having any additional mice (they usually avoid places with cats), and not to the trap being faulty. There is absolutely no evidence of any rodent having climbed onto the trap or into the bucket. So I think we are lucky and do not have any more mice or other rodents.
