works SO SOO GOOD!!
Don't be alarmed when you open the box! It is super easy to put together! I figured it out in 1 minute and didn't even read the instructions. I put it on and it started to stretch out my bent finger! (skateboarding injury) everything is really well made! pads in all the right spots, easy to increase the stretch at small or large increments, easy to release, and a heartfelt letter comes with it from the inventory of this. He even encourages you to contact him if you need to. Very nice! No chemical smells! I was hesitant about the price, but now that i own it i am keeping it! well worth the money! I wish i would have bought this 2 years ago, but better late than never!!

Locking Lever Will Not stay in Place - works nice with a Normal finger though
I really wanted to like this. I tried hard. I saw how secure it was with my index finger once its locked in. It works wonderfully with a normal finger. Problem is my index finger is fine, its my ring finger that curls in. I can get my ring finger straight with effort But the lever that is used to lock it in place simply wont go far enough. The ring finger tension knocks the locking lever mechanism back. The locking mechanism simply doesnt stay in place. This is why I tried my index finger and saw how beautifully it works with a normal finger. I honestly cant believe the price considering it does not work

Using to manage Dupuytren's Contracture.
I have been using the Finger Press for Dupuytren's Contracture on multiple fingers. Following needle aponeurotomy procedures on both hands I use the Finger Press to re-straighten my affected fingers every single day. It takes about 5-10 minutes to prove each affected finger can be straightened every day. It seems to be keeping the condition in check and slowing its recurrence and putting off the need for additional procedures. I have been a daily user of the Finger Press for two years now.

Almost great
It really is a nicely made product. There are a couple issues that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First, there is no means to lock it in place. Although the retention mechanism works, a slight bump in the front will release the holding mechanism, which significantly decreases the ability to do other activities. Wearing at night is not practical. The second problem is that the padding does not have enough give. It would be far better if they used a closed cell foam padding rather than 3D printed material. Other than those two issues, it really is a very good product for stretching out the finger at the PIP joint. Iโm using it for my pinky finger which was dislocated while horseback riding. The finger curled in quite a bit during the initial healing process. I canโt speak for other applications this straightener might have.
