Very well built and lots of adjustments to fit great.
I have been wanting a hardhat for a while, I do a lot of yard work and wanted something to keep the dirt and debris from landing on my head. And also to protect me from falling branches when I"m trimming. This hat was just what I was looking for. It has a nice support system that enables you to fit it snugly to your head while still leaving some room to protect you from hard objects. There are vents on both sides that do allow decent air flow compared to ones without vents. I am going to add a battery operated fan to increase the flow since it is so hot here in the south, but it kept my head cool and protected when I chopped down and chopped up a tree top I had to remove.

Very easy to adjust to your head size. Works Great!
This COOLJOB HDPE Full Brim Hard Hat is Vented and is OSHA Approved for Safety Work and Construction. It also comes with a chin strap, but I removed it because its not needed for my use. Its very easy to adjust to your head size by just pulling out the knob in the back, turning it to loosen or tighten and then pushing it back in. I wear this 2-3 times per week while at jobsites and have zero complaints. Its highly visible and lightweight and serves my purpose. I highly recommend it.

Nice hard hat. Don’t like chin strap.
So first of all, I know nothing about hard hats or what makes a good one vs a poor one. I got this to use during tornado season to protect my head in case i find myself not in Kansas anymore Toto. Anyhow, this hat appears to be strong and adequate for intermittent, light use. The chin strap however is about 5/8” wide and it does not unclip, you just have to adjust the length to get out of the thing. Maybe they’re all made this way but I don’t like that I can’t unclip it. I guess this makes it safer though since clips could fail. Wish the strap were more like 3/4” wide for comfort. But it’s not like I’m wearing this everyday on a construction site. But if you are, you might want to know it’s not made for comfort necessarily. The head hammock inside is questionable with the crown piece made of some very thin TPO type material and the straps that support the hammock are super thin in thickness (think ribbon), not width. The chin straps are much more substantial than the hammock straps. They don’t feel like they would survive for long with daily use. The rear adjustment knob works well. You pull it out and turn to adjust, then push it back down to lock it. This hat is perfect for what I need but I’d keep looking for a daily hat that you’d have to wear all day on a construction job. The hat quality is consistent with the pricing.

Light weight and protective
This one says it's OSHA approved but the center pad that fits at the top of the head is not padded like other hats I've had. It's just a thin piece of plastic-like cloth. It's thin and not padded. I don't guess it matters. It feels like other hard hats when I have it on and I don't notice any difference from the others. It's adjustable to fit different size heads and vented to allow air flow to the head when it's worn for a long time. A good hat with no issues and easy to wear.

Comfortable, adjustable, has chin strap as well
I haven't run into jobsite safety guys going after the chin strap yet, but this hard hat does have one. The standard "suspension" is good, I like the knob-adjustability, more like a welding helmet than most budget hard hats I've had in the past. Much easier to get sized and comfortable with this than the budget trucker-hat style adjustments. This is a full brim hard hat, has about a 2" rim around the edge full-circle, definitely nice to have for a bit more sun shade if you're outdoors all day. Otherwise, pretty standard basic white (also available yellow, but I got white) hard hat to help keep you safe and up to date, comfortable and effective. I didn't crash test it so I can't speak to actual impact resistance but it looks about the same in that realm as what else I've had in the past.

Comfortable.
It's a comfortable hardhat and I like the styling of it. The chin strap isn't very easy for me to use since I have a full beard and have to get it under my beard. I sort of wish it was a clip that I could snap instead of just an adjustable strap only. However, it is what it is and I'm not disappointed. Did I mention it's comfortable? :) The suspension adjustment works well and is easy to adjust. The hardhat does not list any sort of safety rating inside that I could find, you only see it on this Amazon listing. I looked at another brand, where I work, and that brand didn't list a rating either. Maybe it's not required; I don't know if certain employers may want the rating labeled on the PPE. That may or may not apply to you.

Surprisingly comfortable
We needed a hard hat for the occasional project that requires head protection, plus my young son loves this style of hardhat to play in. He thinks it makes him resemble his older cousin, who is a forest firefighter. The adjustable harness in the hat allows for it to be adjusted down to my son's size and up to my own size, depending on its use on a given day.

Good replacement hard hat for occasional use
I rarely need a hard hat except when I visit a construction site for work. It's a solid hard hat and I don't have to put one of those sweaty loaners on my head. The ratchet has a nice locking mechanism so it holds the selected size well. The dorky chin straps removed easily and I put them in a ziploc bag in my PPE bag in case some OSHA guy whines at me.
