Q: Will it mount to any metal surface ?

It itself is not a magnet. You have to connect it to a magnet. Like it won’t stick to my refrigerator. It connects to my old mount in the car that’s magnetic.

Q: Will this support the weight of a galaxy s22 ultra?

I have a iPhone14 ProMax and it works great. The magnet is extremely strong. I am using it with the WixGear vent magnet.
