This is good budget device
After a terrible start, and me having no time to sit down and set up the tablet properly, it had some software glitches, the sellers were very good and tried to assist. Recently i updated the software and started to use this and I can honestly say this is better than I expected, it works well it has a good screen and the sound is good. There is only one critisism of this great little device, the Start UP Introduction pages take over a minute telling me its Telcast. Other then the boot up time, this I would recommend as a first device.

No haptic feedback, frustrating and forces pattern instead of facial recognition
A good tablet but ruined by the following:Firstly no haptic feedback is available, which is pretty pathetic in this day and age. Secondly, the Screen Unlock always defaults to 'Pattern' rather than use correctly enrolled 'Facial Recognition' (The instructions in the manual are incorrect). Both these factors are super annoying and fail a good value tablet.Thirdly, whilst I thought Android 14 would be easier and more sensible than Android 13, as usual with Google, it is actually far worse and has a great deal of additional 'hand holding', all of which will likely want to be turned off by most grown-ups...but it is not easy to do so.Useful settings are really hard to find and everything else is designed to make it extremely difficult to turn off so-called 'features', which are actually just marketing funnels for Google.Apart from that, the actual tablet is ok and has a good screen, reasonable power etc, is well built and, as a tablet, good value. The whole thing though is let down by the painful operating system, lack of touch (haptic) feedback and that ridiculously frustrating locking system...which I have turned off entirely. All in all, a good value, adequate tablet...but be prepared for frustration by the bucket load.

Do not buy
Bought this a while ago but after a while I was having issues with it where the screen completely locked. I could only to a hard restart. And then it takes about 10 minutes to load up ... if your lucky currently waiting now after 20 minutes for it to load. I did contact Telcast but they weren't that helpful asked you to reload the firmware qhi h if your not confident qith computers is a challenge. Look at other manufacturers first

Was able to load my mobile direct to tablet, clear instructions. Very fast, so far cannot fault it. V.g.v.f.m.

Good for the price
Bought for my young son. Works very well, a good option for young children and saving some money instead of buying a IPAD or similar.Very easy to use and set up!

Works well for such a low cost tablet
Works perfectly as a controller for my TT120 model railway (a work in progress). The Hornby HM7000 is apparently rather fussy as to the tablets it will currently work with. I didn’t want the expense of an Apple iPad for just running my model railway, so I took a chance on this and it has paid off. It would probably be fine as an everyday simple tablet as well.
