What can I say, they came in handy! We planned a family trip to Nicaragua in June 2024. I hadn't been there in about 15 years and I have two kids in particular that seem to be magnets for anything that bites/stings (fleas, mosquitoes, etc.). So I bought 5 of these for my immediate family. It was an additional $400 that I spent (they're cheaper now), but well worth it because it allowed me to be able to sleep at night without worrying about my kids getting eaten up. We stayed at places that looked like a forest and had a bunch of bugs all in our room (slept in a tree), and slept on my grandmother's empty room floors. I also used them in hotel room on the beds and floors. I mean, it didn't matter where we threw ourselves, we were all comfortable with it because we knew we were protected. We still got bit from being out and about, but never while asleep. I'm from Los Angeles, Ca, so we're not used to mosquitoes and stuff like that. We cry over one bite. Haha! Anyway, I was able to fit all 5 sets in a large travel luggage. I also bought sleeping bag sleeves and used those as a blanket because they are thin (we knew it would be hot). I can't sleep without having something on me and thought this would be a good idea since it's literally like a sleeping bag, so it keeps you covered. Another layer of protection-just in case. I would then roll those up like a little burrito and fold up my tents and were ready to go. I was originally going for the L-runner because it was just so much smaller and would fit on a carry on, but it would fall in the middle and I was scared that any bug could sting you/bite because the mesh literally went down and touched the skin. I had a hard time deciding between the two, but went for this one because I didn't want to have to be dealing with bit-up kids. The night Cat just props up very nicely on its own. But if you're an adult and need something that fits on a carry on, the L-Runner is definitely a good choice. I have kids, so you know how that goes. I really do recommend this product. It pops up on its own and stays put. I recommend you practice how to fold it and unfold it before going on your trip. When you open it, be very careful and make sure no one is around you and face it away from your face because it snaps open and can really hurt you if you're not careful--especially when you're not expecting it. I had to teach my kids how to open and close because you can literally hurt yourself if you're not careful. I mean, the spring is strong and is what keeps it nicely open, so it makes sense that it would just pop open. Just be careful until you get the hang of it.

We use this all the time for our cat. Easy to store and assemble. Keep on our porch closed and pop open when our feline friend joins us.

I purchased this because I go on mission trips (March 2025 most recent) where there are numerous bugs, spiders etc. This product is easy to carry, fairly light and a breeze to assemble, and disassembly is a small learning curve but the nice thing is there is a QR code with a video demonstrating this clearly supplied. Attached are cords and stakes to allow for in ground anchoring, or straps to allow you to secure to a cot. This does fold into a circular shape which can be a little odd for rectangular luggage so bear that in mind. On day one everyone in the group was giving me a hard time about glamping, first night I was laying there reading and watched a large spider crawling across the netting, instantly paid for itself and allowed peace of mind. We had a spider infestation this trip and by the second day multiple people were asking for the link to this. the other beauty is in warm weather you do not need to be wrapped in blankets to avoid mosquitoes. the material is of good quality, obviously will rip if you mistreat it but I did not have any issues. I did like the inside pocket for keeping items organized and the hook for hanging a light. One area to improve would be the zipper door on both sides but that is a preference issue. the head and foot areas taper down like a tent so if you are a taller person double check the size as i could see mine being a bit too small for people of height, I 5'4'' did not have any issues with room to spare. I am not sure of they have different sizes and thankfully being short it is not an issue that comes up often for me, but be sure to check so that you do not feel crammed in. Would I recommend this product? yes I did for another person even before we left for the March trip, and I sent the link to multiple people throughout the trip. As someone who runs hot and does not like to be covered all night this was a great product to have.
