If you want an adjustable wrench that is high-quality, this is a great choice. These have way less "slop" in the mechanism than most adjustable wrenches due to good quality production tolerances and also due to the excellent design of the adjustment screw with 5 points of contact (whereas the normal adjustable wrenches have only 3 points of contact). The wrench holders its size well even with some shacking and movement. They have the markings for inches and mm, so you can dial quickly to what you need. Probably the only better adjustable wrench available is the Milwaukee wrenches which have 6-points of contact, but are somewhat more expensive than the SK. I've used these SK adjustable for many jobs and I'm very happy with their performance. They are better than Craftsman, Irwin, and virtually all other brands that I tested and gave away.

Top quality as expected from S&K....with tool holder for your box. You will not do better for the money.

Compared to the SK professional versions on their website for $185 total, these are about 90%. The professional version on their website are not X-frame, but more of a classic adjustable wrench form factor. As you can see on the video when I adjust the mechanism and set it down the version sold on Amazon have more of a ting then a thunk, and the adjustment wheel has a higher pitched sound. The finish is a bit nicer on the pro version. Many of SK Tools are still made in the US, such as some of their ratchets, all the sockets on their website, and many pliers. I did confirm the pro versions of the wrenches are indeed made in China (though as with the pliers the quality is the same these days if it's a good enough factory.) They both have lifetime warranty but the version sold on Amazon is through Great Star and the pro version is through SK USA. Same functionality.

It is a nice wrench. Although the laser etching is shallow and dim, but who really needs that? Very little play on adjustment screw, and appears to have machined trapezoid thread sand machined jaws. I like the "I Beam" design purely for aesthetic appearance. Would not buy again, thought it was American made from the description, which I did NOT read thoroughly. Happy to help out US investors in cheap overseas labor.

Best adjustable wrench I’ve used. I’m hard to please when it comes to tools. I’m a furniture maker and when it comes to adjusting machines I don’t want to mess around. Unlike my last set these jaws don’t wiggle around on me—I set the opening and it stays in that position from bolt to bolt—no more adjusting every time. Found them watching a Project Farm comparison and they have not disappointed.

Very nice wrench, especially for this price. It is NOT made in US unfortunately like some SK tools but it is great quality and a very reasonable price. I have the 12 inch which is used weekly. Very smooth adjuster and very little excess play and heavy build quality. I would class it as a very high quality mid range wrench.

I needed a small adjustable wrench to be able to carry around in my pocket and for a small tool case. So I ordered the 6-in adjustable wrench and I'm very pleased with the quality. Having the metric and SAE indicators on the side of the jaw is very helpful.
