Yes, the hammer I purchased has the eagle logo. I’m a finish carpenter & I’ve been using estwing hammers for years. I bought this one to hang in my shop and use around the house. I’m extremely pleased with it.

You can't go wrong with either size handle. The estwing hammer you are looking at is a very nice hammer, I have both long and short handle and love them both. I use short handle one for finish work and use long handle for framing. Either size your husband will be happy with.
