DUVO + Bird Nest Box Kit

The box contains everything needed to build a nest box, including a little wooden hammer and wood glue. It would be a fun little project for children under supervision, saving the adults the effort of buying a plank of wood and cutting it according to one of the many plans available online. Unfortunately, we found that we couldn't get a decent finish to the box. It proved so hard to get glue out of the little bottle of glue, we had to use some we already had in the garage. The cut parts were not cut and drilled accurately enough to make a box without significant gaps. The lid really needs a clasp or screw because it lifts easily (the wood is very lightweight). We didn't fit the perch as that would make it easier for predators and competitors to get at any future occupants.
