Candle Color Dye for Soy Wax, Paraffin, Beeswax - 16 Colors Dye Chips

I work with coconut/soy wax, so if you use paraffin, this review may not be relevant. I have tried liquid dyes for the unusual colors, though I use solid dyes for my regular red or green colors. But one wants the color to imply the scent, and so I need more options! Alas! the liquid colors just don't work for coconut/soy wax: they muddle, they precipitate, and if you end up with anything remotely resembling the color you sought, you should fall on your knees and thank whatever god(s) you worship! This dye WORKS! At least for coconut/soy wax. Dissolves easily, produces reliable colors, highly concentrated. Though the package provides only 3g of each color, that's a LOT! I used a mere fleck of the orange for a light-orange color (vanilla-orange candle). At that rate, I could easily get 10+, maybe more candles from that 3g. TOTALLY endorsed!

I’ve only used one of these so far and it dyed my candle beautifully. I can’t wait to try out more of them.

These worked for a group evening of candle-making. The instructions are very clear not to use too much dye, but how much it took to get the depth of color we wanted varied a lot from color to color. We ended up using 10–20% for a bunch of candles (shown), and we only used 8 of the 16 colors, so there's quite a bit of dye included. I can imagine if you want consistency for candles you plan to sell this might not be the best form factor, but overall we were quite pleased.

Me encantaron estos tintes para velas. Los colores quedan bien definidos y vibrantes sin necesidad de usar demasiado producto. Se mezclan muy rápido con la cera de soja y no dejan grumos ni manchas. También me gustó que el color queda uniforme al solidificar y no cambia el aroma de la vela, cosa que para mí es súper importante. Probé varios tonos y todos se ven preciosos, especialmente para velas artesanales o de regalo. Si estás buscando un tinte que rinda, sea fácil de usar y deje un acabado profesional, este funciona perfectamente. Muy recomendado para principiantes y también para quienes ya hacen velas de manera regular.

Excelente experiencia de compra. El producto llegó antes de lo esperado, perfectamente empaquetado y en condiciones impecables. Tal como se describe en la publicación, de muy buena calidad lo volvería a comprar.

You have to be careful to make sure the color is fully melted I would suggest a while because if not it will leave streaks in the wax.
