Marukan Rice Vinegar Unseasoned, 1-Gallon Jars

I've purchased Marukan Rice Vinegar at the grocery store in small glass bottled in the past and was happy to fine a gallon available on Amazon with a much cheaper cost per ounce than the grocery store. If you have used rice vinegar before- you know it's a great ingredient to have on hand for numerous preparations in your kitchen. It's great in Asian dishes, marinades, and salad dressings adding a mild tasting acidity and sweet and sour flavor to foods. As a chef for over 30 years, I can attest Marukan is a very good brand of unseasoned rice vinegar. If you've never used rice vinegar I'm going to share a simple tasty recipe. Fill a quart sized Mason jar with 2/3 baby carrots and 1/3 sliced jalapeños and 2-3 cloves of peeled garlic. You can add a pinch of dried chili flakes if you like. Cover with rice wine vinegar until everything is submerged. Place in your refrigerator for 2 weeks and then enjoy healthy pickled carrots and jalapeños.

This was already an excellent and delicious product that I’ve been using for many years. But now that I know the recipe for the simplest most delicious and unfailingly super crisp table. pickles I’ve ever had it is indispensable. A head of cabbage, a head of cauliflower, carrots, daikon, and onion and some chili peppers and I’ve got 4-6 qts of refrigerator pickles that everybody raves about. They’re good on sandwiches, they’re great on burgers They’re good as a side vegetable like a salad when you just don’t feel like doing something else. They’re Absolutely! delicious and it’s because of the unique milder flavor of this product. No other vinegar will make these pickles as even remotely as well and as deliciously as this vinegar. This is absolutely a kitchen standard for me..

It's much better when you buy it by the gallon you'll have to get a smaller container to put it in to make it handy on the table but it's certainly economical and it taste just the same as quality stuff that comes in the Bible
