Hands-on Test-Driven Development: Using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and RSpec

Definitive guide on doing TDD with a Full Rails app
The author takes you through building a rails blog in a full app, to demonstrate TDD. Most TDD books focus on small non real world examples to get the ideas across, but they don't really ever translate to how it works in practice. This one does translate. I love that the author stresses how important it is to have a failing test first, so you will have the confidence that your tests pass for the right reason. The writing style is very fluid and easy to follow. This book is perfect for the beginner practitioner of TDD all the way to intermediate Ruby and Rails developer who needs to brush up on their RSpec and TDD practice.Only downside I have wasn't the author, or the book, but the shipping from Amazon. I got the PDF, available from APress, while waiting on the Amazon shipping. 100% worth it. You'll definitely level up following the example app being built throughout this book.
