Benosen Tara Gum Powder 4 oz

love it!

Great Product will use from now on.

I ordered Benosen Tara Gum (4oz): Ice Cream & Sauce Thickener- THis gum works great for my ice cream that I use in my ninja creami. This also makes it that after i make the ice cream and refreeze that it keeps it smooth and scoopable. A huge plus! bc it gets annoying when I want to just have a scoop or two, I have to respin the ice cream- with that tara gum, i dont have to. Win win! Even thought this is only 4oz, its a lot bc its powder and you only need a tiny amount.

It's pricy but I make my ice cream with almond milk, eggs and just a little of heavy cream. With this added you'd never guess. So much healthier and still tasty.

This helps my creami mixes to get smooth. Works well and doesn’t hurt my stomach like guar gum.

This works great for thickening homemade ice cream. Use sparingly though. 1/8 th teaspoon is enough in your recipe for an ice cream machine.

The "Benosen Tara Gum (4oz): Ice Cream & Sauce Thickener, Keto-Friendly" is a great product to have in the kitchen. I am very happy to have this tara gum as I make a lot of my own low sodium foods (sauces, dressings, gravies, powdered milk products etc.) and I have been exploring different thickening agents. I prefer using real food over processed man-made thickeners. So far, I have only used it in sauces & dressings but looking forward to exploring its many options. It doesn't take much of the powder so I cut a small slit on one side of the foil that is just large enough to get a small measuring spoon in and then poked holes in the rest of the top so I can use it like a shaker. When I need the shaker part, I just make sure the foil over the slit is closed and hold my finger over it. I appreciate it comes in a sturdy jar with a screw on lid. It has the foil between the jar and lid and was also sealed with plastic around it. I received mine in August 2024. Its manufacture date was 03/05/2024 and its best by date isn't until 03/04/2024. Product of Turkiye.

I recently purchased this product and have used it to thicken ice cream and stews. I like that it works as advertised, thickening the food without any discernible odd flavor. I am happy with this product and think it will be a staple in my kitchen from now on.
