Mono Masters

Was totally surprised how much more depth there was to this collection which sounds way better than I anticipated with so much more clarity and good bass...this is what’s missing on the cd remasters that could have been done a lot better..since I recorded this album to digital it made me realise why surely it cannot be impossible to make a decent cd master...after all I’m happy listening to this vinyl on my own digital copy that sounds good even on an average renowned turntable..I still think digital could be better if it was mastered the right way...it’s not impossible as far as I’m concerned....on buying this three lp set I went on to buy the rest of the mono remasters which cost an arm and a leg but sound so good....until the rest of the Beatles albums are remixed these will do for the time being as I’m not a fan of most stereo versions....

What a great album, three actual vinyl records. Here are all the non album Beatle singles, b sides and EP tracks in glorious mono. This is how the songs should be heard and just as we remember them at the time of release. Day tripper has great clarity, Paperback Writer that glorious bass from Paul, with Hey Jude just as we saw on the David Frost show. I would throughly recommend this album one for completeness but also to go back to the sound of the Beatles as we remember them. Good delivery and arrived in excellent condition.

Couldn’t afford or couldn’t buy the mono masters so I bought this as I needed the yellow submarine tracks and don’t let me down in mono so good value for money

The songs presented here are beyond my ability to pass judgement upon and others have done so more than adequately in the past but I can say that the sound on all of these tracks and the quality of the pressing and presentation can not be faulted and surpasses any expectations that I had for these(Revolution - wow). Incredible job done on this as with all of the recent Universal Music Beatles mono vinyl re-issues (including the Long Tall Sally EP which is also available separately to this album).

Excellent sound quality vinyl

I gave it to my son who was knocked out by the clarity of the sound. I told him this was the way we heard these songs when they were first released.

This is a true treat for your ears. How a mono recording can fill my room with such a soundstage is astonishing.Reference quality stuff with a suitable setup.
