EXCELLENT PRODUCT
These are super small, very slim and easy to install. If you are looking for detectors that are very easy to install, then this is the product for you. I used the adhesive pads supplied to fit the detectors to my ceilings. The adhesive is really strong, so there is no worry about them falling to the floor. They are interlinked detectors, which means that when one activates, they all activate. I installed the actual heat alarm in my kitchen to avoid false alarms. I also think that they look great (see photos). The batteries are not replaceable but the units have a lifespan of 10 years. I am more than happy with this because they're great value for the money. I did not have to set up anything when they arrived because they were all pre-linked. So it was simply a case of fixing them to the ceiling and that was it, job done. A great thing about this product is that it is extendable and you can connect up to 30 alarms.

Wireless interconnected smoke alarm
I was given one of these photoelectric smoke alarms to test for free as part of the Amazon Vine programme. We like it so have since bought more -- you can buy them singly or in a pack of three with two photoelectric and one heat one (from this same listing) -- and have put them throughout the house. Really you need to buy more than one otherwise another smoke alarm would probably be more suitable, as these are wirelessly interlinked. The smoke alarm is small and light. It was a breeze for my brother to install this and the others as you can either use the provided sticky disc(s) or the provided screws. He used the sticky discs and after setting them up (linking them, I think) which took a matter for minutes it was an additional few minutes to install them throughout the house. They have been up a few days now and show no inclination to fall off the ceiling. We've also had no false alarm incidents. In addition, they are discreet being quite small and light compared to ones we've had in the past. They each contain a sealed battery with a life of around 10 years. Priced £29.99 (15% off if you buy two single ones) or £49.99 (for two photoelectric and one heat alarm) at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this is not badly priced. We managed to put an alarm in all the necessary areas of the house for about £100. We are pleased with this product and am happy to recommend. I will update this Amazon Vine review if necessary.

There’s a reason the batteries are not replaceable – it’s the Law!
There’s a reason the batteries are not replaceable – it’s the Law!This is a very good, easy-to-install alarm system comprising 3 wireless interlinked (meaning if one goes off, they all go off) smoke and heat alarms - each with a 10-year lithium battery that is not replaceable. For people wondering why batteries are not replaceable – if they were then they would not comply with the Law if used in Scottish homes, I can’t comment on what the legal requirements for the other UK nations are.To quote from mygov.scot/home-fire-safety :“As required by Scottish Law every home now needs to have interlinked fire alarms. There are 2 types of interlinked fire alarms that meet the new rules:• sealed battery alarms – which should be tamper-proof long-life (which can be up to 10 years) batteries. You can fit these alarms yourself.• mains-wired alarms - these are cheaper than tamper proof long-life battery alarms, but should be installed by a qualified electrician. These should be replaced every 10 years.”And, if you are also required to have a carbon monoxide alarm, and you choose to install a battery operated one, it too must have a sealed battery for the duration of its lifespan, which may be up to 10 years. It is also important to note that failing to comply with the Law may put you in breach of the requirements of your home and property insurances – meaning your insurers may not pay out on claims.

A pack of 3 so easy to install alarms (smoke + heat), and they are even wirelessly interlinked.
What a great find these alarms are, 3 devices, 2 x smoke alarms and 1 x heat alarm, and with an added bonus, they are all wirelessly interlinked, so when one goes off they all do - perfect!Gone are the days of installing 2 or 3 alarms in the house in different places all interlinked with complex wiring, this system is far easier and so quick to install too, using either super sticky thick backing pads or just your normal screws and anchors. They contain a 10 year Lithium Battery, and use a sensitive photo electric sensor which detects smoldering fires far more quickly, and accurately, using a sensor 'class A heat sensor' at 54 degrees C.Something else I love about these is they have a big TEST button, which can be tested or muted, and can be tested then muted with a simple broom handle. The reason I so like this is, how many times have we burnt toast in the kitchen, and then running frantically round thehouse trying to open windows and doors and waving towels just to help calm the alarm sound down, especially as there are 3 alarms in separate places throughout the house.I installed each alarm in relevant places in no time, and I love using the backing device (with the amazing sticky pads) rather than drill holes. Once the backing device was in place, I simply attached the alarm, as shown in the photos, and as a bonus, the alarm activated itself with 3 loud bleeps, so it would be impossible to turn the alarm off by mistake. The makers have thought of everything.I have included 11 images to show the 3 devices in and out the packing and also in use. Thank you truly for a great set of 3 products in every way.

Peace of mind
This is an excellent smoke detector, with well written instructions that are comprehensive on the functions of the device and where to install it. It can be screwed into place or fixed with an adhesive pad, which holds it well. The device is easy to test and silence, with a huge button you can press with a broom handle, or even a ruler. No having to climb up on a chair to press a small button! In common with many others, it has a built-in battery that you can't change but it should last 10 years. This is expensive as a stand-alone smoke detector, but it is designed to be bought with others so you have several in the house that are interlinked - if one goes off they all do. This would be a super system to ensure everyone in the house is alerted if there is a problem.
