ALLEVYN Gentle Border 10x10cm, Adhesive Foam Dressing for Gentle Wound Healing, 10-Pack

These are excellent for skin which tears easily as mine does, they are easy to apply, waterproof to a certain extent and slightly padded, which helps prevent further knocks to already broken skin. This application had helped keep the whole of the back of my hand clean and safe after a particularly bad tear. They help healing and keep the wound moist. Also are very flexible to allow continued hand movement. Very pleased I bought them, just ordered a further box so I always gave them to hand.... no pun intended!

As this is a medical product I'm not sure how to rate this.... how it has excellent sticking qualities, easy to apply etc. I use this to fix Iiodine dressings to my leg to clear up blisters. It does the job without leaving any plaster marks.

Great secondary (=essentially a padded plaster with gentle border) dressing - well padded and sticks to skin well - no damage to elderly thin skin so far. im not a wound care expert but note if its a significant wound will need a primary dressing under this to keep moist/promote healing/supress infection, etc - best seek advice for the primary dressing

These appear to be genuine and I haven't questioned the quality of these dressings. They are on the expensive side but definitely the best dressing to use in my opinion. I change mine every day but I'm sure they would last longer if needed. They are absorbant and stay in place well; although I use other plasters to keep it in place just in case. A 5 star product if the price was fairer

I cut my shin down to the bone, went to the hospital where I was told to return in 1 week. After 3 days I changed my dressing for this Allevyn plaster. My skin is paper thin thanks to steroids. No infection. I could shower as normal absolutely brilliant

Did the job well, when old like me 90 years! Skin tear not cut. Used for two weeks, thankfully cleared up nicely, would recommend, in these occasions.

I’ve been using Allevyn Gentle Border for a week over a long-standing infected wound, and it has made a big difference. My skin has become very sensitive with other dressings and tapes, which often caused irritation when removing them. This dressing is gentle, painless to remove, and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It also has a soft, moist pad that seems to support healing, so I no longer need to apply Vaseline beforehand as my doctor previously advised. The pad also acts as a protective cushion over the wound, helping to prevent pressure or friction while it heals. Unlike other dressings I was using previously, it does not stick to the wound itself, which has prevented further damage during removal. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Excellent for leg alcers, very absorbent and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Dessa plåster är dyra men så bra om man har svårläkta sår och dessutom inte tål vanliga plåster. Kan sitta på länge så att såret får vara i fred och läka.

The allevyn 10x10cm (4x4in) is in fact 3x3in, to small, no good.
