Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix, 5.2-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Was unable to drive for 8 wks so was looking for a whipped topping alternative & found the Dream Whip. It's a fabulous bargian & it really tastes good. All it takes is some milk & vanilla. Makes a large amount & using reconstituted powdered milk is even suggested n the package--works just fine. It holds up as well for wk or more but didn't last very long in this household. I told my mom , who is in her late 80's, & she wanted some. I remember growing up eating this because mom didn't drive & she could keep it around. I will order this product again & was thrilled to find it. BTW I made pie, pudding, cake, on &on w/ it. There are some great recipes on it & since we don't do sugar in this household so was wodnerful because it's only 0 or 2 grams per serving-- so VERY LOW SUGAR

Love it. And wonder why it soon hard to find in the stores. I make the mousse for both company and just us. Make 1 pkg of DREAM WHIP according to directions. In another bowl, make instant pudding using 1-½ cups milk, according to directions. Blend pudding with cool whip. Pour into 6 serving bowls, refrig. Serve topped with whip cream, berries or shaved chocolate----great. DREAM WHIP use to put this recipe on the box, but now they don't. Love it.

I need Cool Whip for two recipes but can't buy it in Australia. I bought the Dream Whip, tried it to make sure it would work and am happy to say, as a substitute, it will do what I need it to.

Dream Whip is an excellent product. It whips up quickly and hold up too! I like to keep extra on hand as I don't always get out to shop. This is the best way to buy it. It was safely packaged and arrived quickly.

I started using dream whip probably over 40 years ago, long before cool whip and I still think this is a great product. It doesn't break down like cool whip does so if you use it as a frosting it doesn't turn to water. You can color it and flavor it and use it in all kinds of dishes and doesn't take up freezer space and always on hand.

Dream whip product is always good. However, packing this time around had something to be desired. There was loose powder in the packing. When I took the boxes out of the wrapping, one box was leaking powder. I opened that box to discover 3 of the 4 packets in it were all mangled and destroyed, obviously packed at the plant that way. Don't know how they didn't notice it and sent it for shipping. What a waste of money for that box. Maybe quality control should work a little harder.

Dream Whip is quick and easy to prepare, and can be used to produce dessert toppings that are light and delicious. Unfortunately, it is full of partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, the primary source of trans fats. Trans fats have been shown to cause coronary artery disease. As a result, on June 16, 2015, the FDA gave the food industry 3 years to remove partially hydrogenated vegetable oil from their products. Kraft can continue to incorporate the poison into Dream Whip until that deadline expires in 2018. Partially hydrogenated oils can be replaced with other types of fat, and I hope that Kraft will make that change to Dream Whip in the near future. Until then, don't buy Dream Whip if you would like to avoid heart disease.

Easy to make and tastes so fresh. It's my favorite since I was a kid and the flavor is so much better, and lighter than cool whip. It does not have the chemical taste that cool whip has come to have. Love it and the price is decent. Thank you.
