Fun fishing game! My three grandchildren - 2 1/2, 5, 7 - all like to play with it. The littlest one has a bit of trouble hooking a fish, but he'll get it! This game is surprisingly well made! We love the compact style. The game doesn't have to be in a cardboard box, with risk of lost pieces. The game is its own case, with the fish in their own spots, and the poles snapped in the doors. The carry handle makes it easy, too!

It worked great with the rotating board and music. Kids loved playing with it. It turned out being a lot better than I expected and still is running nice and strong after having it for so long. I would recommend having this for kids that are old enough to not try to eat the parts and pieces that come with it. I had adults playing this thing and laughing. Definitely fun for the whole family and took me back to my younger years when I had a similar game growing up.

Is was a super fun game .easy for the little ones to use .has lots of colors on it.grwat value for the money. Makes a great gift item as well

We got this for the kiddo and she loves it. Works great and has a little song that plays. I love it because it helps with her hand eye coordination.

We got this for my son's birthday party. He is turning SEVEN-TEEN! I thought my wife was crazy, because this is a toy for a seven year-old, not a seventeen year-old. But she didn't get it for HIM as much as she got it for the party we were having.Surprisingly, when we left it out on the coffee table in the living room, there were kids playing with it most of the time. It was considered a bit of a gag gift but the kids had a good time using it as a way to socialize and sit around and talk with each other while having fun and competing for fish. I was surprised, but my wife was again correct. It was a big hit. (Note: this was just one of MANY things we had to do, there was a badminton set as well as lots of other fun activities, but this was a bigger hit than I expected, since I didn't think anyone would use it.)I assume it would be a bigger hit with a younger group as well.I am knocking off one star because one of the fish was not opening its mouth, there appeared to be some problem with it. It didn't ruin the game, but it wasn't right and I am afraid that could speak to the quality (or lack thereof) of the toy so I dinged it for that.Overall, it is a fun toy and can be used with little kids, big kids and probably even adults as a fun little game.

Girl ~8 loves these games. Her older brothers do too (a point) but not as much as her.She might be getting close to outgrowing them and has been playing them for around 4-5 years.In fact she's mesmerized by them, besides enjoying playing with it she can just watch them for hours.This upgraded version of the original uses magnets or hooks.You can swap them out on your pole ( you know that plastic will become brittle and break one day though.)The best thing is how the whole things closes up for storage now. (like a little suitcase)Those little fishies are so easy to lose.Competitive play is much smoother now as well, you pick a side of the machine and it has little holes to place the caught fish. If you've filled more than the spaces you have available you can instantly tell who has won.Has some lights and plays stories and songs now too but that's kinda just silliness.The OG cheap ones pop up locally at the big box stores from time to time, haven't seen this nicer model yet. When you buy here it's a slightly better deal usually and you know that it's in stock.Last picture is to show what the basic model of the game looks like.

Cute suitcase format, everything closes up into the box and can be rolled around. Old-school fish popping up and down with magnetic poles to capture them. Very fun and larger scale for small hands. (still definitely a choking hazard for young-ones). Biggest complaint is that it is a large toy that only does one thing. Rods fit inside but no storage space for anything else… so not very practical for travel or small storage spaces. Good toy, just wish it was more than 1 game, but for kids excited about fishing, it works great and makes for a very fun time.

This classic fishing game is great! My kids in the classroom love playing it.My only observation would be that there is no way to turn down the sound. Or turn it off.I have an autistic child in the classroom and the loud volume is an issue for him.
