The unit arrived and was slightly disappointed on the size
I wanted to get a bluetooth speaker to see if it would work with my tv wich also has bluetooth. Was hoping to get a surround sound system without all the cables. The unit arrived and was slightly disappointed on the size. Somehow thought it was larger. Photos can be a bit deceiving online. Anyway charged it up and connected to my tv. Once it was paired the sound came through. Sadly here is a lag between the normal tv or sound bar and the bluetooth. This basically made my hopes of surround sound useless. At about half a second lag it is impossible to use in this way. I am currently just using this as a speaker for music from my ipad. The look of the unit is nice and the build quality is fine. The sound lacks a nice bass which is present in a bigger unit. If you are wanting a portable unit and want loud music with the bass then this will not be for you. If you looking for a nice small unit that plays some music in random locations on battery power then this fits the bill. All in all will look for a bigger unit and will wire them in. Hope you find this useful.

Great sound. Smaller than I thought it would be but don't let it fool you. The sound packs a punch for its size. Easy for transport. Baterry lasts for ages. I've had Gear4 speakers before and been impressed hence why I bought another one after my old one got damaged in an accident.

Great sound, super compact, good battery life
Long battery life for such a compact speaker. Sound, as with all Gear4 speakers, is excellent. Bass sound is good too.
