Used for my daughter’s Rumi / demon hunter costume. It was really easy to use, I just took a paint brush and painted it on her hair. It didn’t transfer to my hands once it was dry, but drying did take a bit. The color was vibrant and didn’t clump. I put some on her hair before braiding and combed through it well to prevent it from getting too hard. She has blonde hair and it didn’t stain at all, washed right out.

This hair wax was awesome! While it was slightly time consuming to apply, it stayed on great. It did transfer a little, but I feel like that’s to be expected with such vibrant color. It stayed on all day, and the most important part was how easily it came out! I am platinum blonde, and it came out in one wash. I recommend!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she has brown hair and is always wanting to dye it a differnt color. I thought this might be a fun alternitive, and picked a color recomended for dark hair. She has thick curly hair, after reading reviwes it seemed like this would be great for her. WRONG!!!!!! I watched videos, and read instructions before applying this to her hair, her hair was clean and free of tangles. I put it on and the hair just stuck together, I then tried to brush through it, and apply a second layer like read or watched. no can do, there is no brushing through it, it is a matted mess, like if I took a ton of hair spray and sprayed it together. I though hey maybe it is just her hair, so tonight I tried it, I have the exact oppiste hair from my daughter, where hers is short, thick and curly, mine is long, straight and thin. I put on a light coat, and then tried to comb through it and it hurt, it was hard but i got through it, i looked in the mirror andf there is no color, ok so i need a second coat. I put a second light coat on the strands i was doing, only going for streaks, this time it was IMPOSSIBLE to comb through, I am not tenderheaded, but this was not good! I eneded up pulling out my hair, it was matted, it was a gross mess. I washed it out. DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF, it does not work , like it shows.

Good coverage, using too much makes your hair stiff and cannot style with heat after, washes out easily. Can be pretty messy I used gloves when applying but it will transfer on to your neck and hands. Worked well for my pennywise costume and a lot more comfortable than a wig

I used this product to color my beard bright orange for a halloween costume (Vincent van Gogh). It did color my beard bright orange as it was supposed to but this product is very stiff when it dries and is a mess to apply. I also put some around the hair at the base of my neck. It too made my hair very stiff and matted. There is no way to make ones hair look like the pictures associated with this product. I could not imagine putting it in long hair or all over my head. it also rubbed off on my clothing throughout the day. It does wash out easily as advertised and it washed out of my clothes easily too. SOOOO only use this product if you are using it for a costume or for a brief period. It makes your hair matted and stiff!

there were no instructions so i used it on damp hair, because i wanted to maintain my curl definition, and it worked like a charm! i used no other products, just the wax. i went through my hair section by section, applying liberally, and used about 1/2 the container for my whole head to be this vibrant. i was skeptical just going based off the other reviews and limited showcasing of the actual product in hair, but it's actually great. i made sure to cover up my skin with a towel, use gloves, and then diffused my hair and it dried set with a medium hold. then i cleaned up my hair line and part with a wet q-tip to make it look more natural. i used this for my coraline costume and it lasted all day. washes out and off easily too! it dries a good bit but it will still leave a little blue on you if you touch it too much, nothing too bad though. and i don't usually leave reviews but i just had to for this one because i was so pleasantly surprised. so, if you're debating on taking a chance on this product, do it!

It was easy to apply (I applied it to damp hair after doing my curly 2c type hair routine). I didn't wash it out for 3 days and over the course of all 3 days this wax rubbed off everywhere. My bonnet stained (it was fine after a wash), as did my skin (also fine after a few showers). After scratching my head, the wax collected under my nails. A good hair wax is supposed to absorb into your hair, hold your curl patter, not go sticky, and NOT RUB OFF. This wax was everything but. Would not recommend for anyone, except maybe people with short straight hair (style it dry, brush wax through, wash that same night.) Color was pretty strong, but I would not buy again. Curls Unleashed Color Blast hair wax is way way better (at the same price).

Super vibrant and minimal transfer.. used on dark brown Locs...i did use the whole jar but its been 3 weeks and the hair is still colored..... 10/10...
