I was excited to try Alien Gears Shape Shifter 4.0 read the good reviews watched reviews on youtube and figured I'd give them a try. I will say the holster was very comfortable and conceals my handgun well after that BIG TIME FAILURE!!!! I received my Shape Shifter 4.0 on Saturday April 20th when I took it off yesterday Tuesday 23rd the top of the holster started to unravel BIG TIME!!! 3 days how is this even possible? I don't think there's anything Alien Gear could do to make this right??? I sent Alien Gear email, I will update when I get a response as of now looks like I'll be in the market for a great kydex holster. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

To start the product itself I would rate 3 stars. It is well built, firearm feels secure, and looks awesome. Downside would be it's about as comfortable as you would imagine a holster this large is and the print is fairly large.Now the reason I dropped my rating to 2 stars is that after having to pay for shipping (which they don't refund) and then also having to pay to send it back (they don't provide a pre-paid label) you will still pay about $25-$30 to test this product. So they are basically misleading about that 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I tested it 2 weeks, went with a smaller $10 option from Lirisy and was much happier with that one so I sent this back. Still paid for half the price!

I have what some might call a tactical muffin top. I have probably tried like 10 different holsters in the last 4 years, and it was always so uncomfortable. I started doing some research on hosting for fluffy guys and I came a cross this one. The guy that was on the video talking about the holster was "extra" fluffy and his gun actually looked comfortable but to me it looked to good to be true. I hesitated a little because of the price, but I am so glad I took the plunge. It is by far the most comfortable holster I have used and the gun fits as tight and secure. It so comfortable I can use it with out a t-shirt between my skin and the holster. I can wear it at several different positions and still be able to sit and move very comfortably. Im glad Amazon had this because it was like a month wait through aliengear.com. If you are in the market for a good, dependable holster, you will not go wrong with this one.

I received this holster and put it on right away. Initially the tension was lose but there is a little piece/tool that I used to tighten the holster to my desire. I put it on and with few adjustments I was wearing the holster with ease. Typically with my previous Kydex holsters I would feel the high ridge of the holster dig into my side whenever I sat down thus making it extremely uncomfortable. I'm a big guy with a little gut...lol. all kidding aside. When I wear this holster I sometimes forget that it's on me. There is absolutely no rubbing/ chaffing of my skin from the butt of the gun and I no long have to wear a t-shirt inside of my pants to prevent my skin from getting rubbed. The soft material contours to your body and makes for a comfortable fit.I put on a tight dry fit shirt that I would typically wear to the gym and there was barely any printing what so ever. I then sat in my car and drove around and again the holster was a pleasure to wear. I mainly use the holster for conceal carry (iwb) and I'm completely sold. I have ordered at least 5 previous holsters and the Kydex brands and just not comfortable for me. This holster is easy to adjust, wear and conceal. I will be ordering more for other fire arms.

Doesn’t deserve a bad review. It is exactly what I wanted.

I have multiple alien gear holsters which included the 3.0 IWB. The “main” reason for this holster being the best is purely the design. It is way smaller on the width and the flex portion of the actual tension holster is what makes the difference. great holster, comfortable, remember its still a 1911 though, real hard to conceal, dont buy through here though because if you lose warranty card aliengear wont honor this sale, its an unotherized sale so keep that in mind, highly recomend this holster though

*90 Day Update*No damaged seams or cracked pieces yet. Retention peg still holds true, haven’t had any issues with it carrying it almost daily.I got this for a Sig Sauer P330c.Fits perfectly, adjustable retention system is a good feature to have.Material is solid, came with an extra set of bracket locks which came in handy after I lost one.Allot of people complain about the customer service, I haven’t had the need to contact them yet so can’t comment on that.

Complete garbage, the holster never even made it to me and outdoor sports store will not return my money or make it better.. after looking into the reviews I noticed there was other customers who had the same experience. Sad and disappointing to know when you spend good money on something you do not get what you paid for nor will they make it better..Thanks for wasting my time and money.. multiple emails and noone will figure it out..Do not recommend to ANYONE!
