Why is is this product priced twice as much as local grocery stores?

Description says 34.4 oz pack of 8. But in the detailed description way down the page it says one 34 oz package. Which is correct?

I am not sure how the dropdown box popped up with an 8-pack as a descriptor, but this is definitely one single bag at 34.4oz.

What is the self life of this product
