This thing is AMAZING for making milkshakes!! I just mixed milk, a little bit of heavy cream and this vanilla bean powder mix I bought off Amazon and it came out PERFECT. The time it took to freeze and blend properly was less than 10 minutes! The machine is a little finicky at first but once you know what you're doing and can get the ice salt ratio correct, it works great (I really just eyeballed it and kept the aluminum container filled throughout the freezing process). I really don't understand the bad reviews for this product. It works fantastic and easy as when you know what you're doing and have a little bit of patience (let's ne honest 15 minutes isn't that much longer than a trip to the drive thru) and you'll be loving the things you can make with this little 'Nostalgia' machine.

I regret getting this thing. Half the time while using it it sounds as if it is falling apart. I do not know if I got a defective one, or if all of them are like this! You literally as it goes you hear sounds of plastic breaking and snapping, at one point it shot off the lid. I have used a grand total of three times and that's all I can tolerate of it! It says it should take about 15 minutes for the items to become slushy, well 15 minutes later I have very cold liquid with some slushy elements. But it is nothing like a slurpee or an icee and it's consistency. Like I said, liquidy with slushy elements. I was super excited to get this, but now I am equally as disappointed in it. If I could give it no stars that's what I would do.

Just follow the instructions & you won’t have any issues. I don’t see why people was having such a hard time with this machine. My husband & kids are OBSESSED with slushies & we was spending a lot of money at the store buying them. So I bought this & we started saving some cash. Definitely worth the price, it’s very simple to use, & it looks cute too. No problems with it leaking & works great. It is a little on the louder side but it’s making smoothies it’s not god awful on the volume so we’re happy with it.

Smaller than expected and loud. It wasn’t too hard to use and quality of the product it made was just ok. A lot of work for a little bit of product.

I love slushies. This makes it nice to have at home. The only issues I have is that the plastic piece that holds the lid to help it spin sucks. It’s going to break because if not seated just perfectly it clicks and skips and makes all kinds of noise. For the price it’s good for a summer but lucky if it makes it through

Does not work well. Followed YouTube tutorial, put of 7 tried using same process, only provided slush once. Other times machine froze up or remained liquid. Also the faucet dripped throughout entire process. Since it was a gift I now feel I need to replace. Will not recommend
