Tweezerman Slant Tweezer Blooming Lilac

I'm not new to using tweezers but for the longest time, I had been using a generic pair that came with a grooming set and then my husband had the brilliant idea of using them to assist in his home cleanup jobs like cleaning hair out of the shower drain. Yes, he would clean them well but still I thought that was pretty gross. I figured that gave me a good excuse to buy my own brand-new pretty pair of tweezers that he isn't allowed to use! I searched on here and came across so many brands that I wasn't sure which kind to choose. The Tweezerman brand of tweezers was one of my first results and at first I thought they were a bit more expensive than I was looking for. However, after some thorough research, I felt that the price was well-worth the quality as described in a number of reviews plus I was able to find a pretty purple color so I splurged and ordered them.In the short time I've been using these tweezers, I have nothing but good things to say about them! I purchased the Blooming Lilac color and they are really pretty! They look slightly different in person than online and I would classify them as more of a darker lilac or a grape purple according to a color chart I looked at. They measure 3 3/4 inches long and are the perfect length for me for plucking my eyebrows. The metal tip is very sharp, feels sturdy and, if you decide to purchase these, I would suggest being very careful when grasping hairs to make sure you don't grab any skin because of how sharp they are. The slanted tip is covered with a removable cap that is perfect for safety reasons. The tweezers come in a packaging case which is actually a decent size for sticking in a cosmetic bag or purse.I LOVE how well these tweezers work on plucking my eyebrows! They are very precise and grasp the hair so well that every time they pull hairs out, I can see the roots which tells me how well the tweezers are doing their job. Of course, it hurts a bit when hair is yanked from my body but I haven't sneezed at all, which I usually do while plucking, and the red, irritated marks on my fair skin is kept to a minimum so you can hardly tell that I've been plucking my eyebrows. I use them every day to touch up my eyebrows and am glad I chose this pair over the mini size because I wanted to be sure they would work well with everyday use and I don't plan to carry them around many places unless we are traveling.I am unbelievably happy with my new purchase of these tweezers and would highly recommend these to anyone looking to purchase a new pair! They are more expensive than some other brands but I already feel they are well-worth it plus if they are the "choice of professionals," then they are good enough for me! For anyone curious as to where these tweezers are made, the packaging on mine says they are made in India. If anything happens that alters my opinion of these tweezers, I will update this review but so far I am very happy and would encourage anyone to take a chance and buy a pair of these tweezers. If these tweezers wear out after a reasonable amount of time, I will definitely buy another of these to replace them. There are several nice colors to choose from as well. I've already told my husband these tweezers are off-limits!

They're good tweezers but they're PINK, not purple like in the picture. I wanted the purple one.

This is my third Tweezerman and love them. Only reason I have the second and third one is I lost the first one. My second one I just sent out to be sharpened which is an awesome service. You don't realize how the tips get dull after awhile when used on an almost daily basis. Only drawback with the sharpening is it takes 4-6wks and I knew I couldn't go that long. I bought another tweezers I thought would be comparable. It looked like it would be close and it even had Tweezer name in it. Unfortunately the set was nice however too sharp and I ended up cutting my face up so had to return it and spent the extra money for number three, the best tweezers out there. Don't worry about the extra couple dollars it's worth it especially when you take advantage of the sharpening service which you can find online and print out a form and send it. They've made it very easy to do.

I always thought a tweezer was a tweezer was a tweezer. I didn’t want to pay the extra money for Tweezerman brand. Bought Sally Hansen, Revlon, etc. but was never satisfied. Finally broke down and bought this Tweezerman brand tweezer. All I can say is WOW! You really do get what you pay for. This tweezer grabs onto the smallest hair and doesn’t let go until you have plucked it out! I will never again buy any other brand of tweezer.

It's a Tweezerman....what else can I say! Having recently bought a few manicure kits with various other brands....I was literally surprised when I tried the tweezers. They're horrible!I thought it was all about the ENDS of a tweezer, but it's shape and construction/design and tension are ALSO very important in use. I had never considered that until I compared them. Tweezerman wins again with their shape, tension, and super high quality tips! Never, ever buy a cheapy brand!

I have one other pair of this brand and ordered another to put in my traveling kit as I forgot my present tweezers on a recent trip. --- They are not inexpensive but they will last FOREVER!

Item as described, delivered as scheduled. Product is great, Tweezerman’s long standing reputation of excellence, works like they are suppose to, and free sharpening for life. This is a second pair to use while my other pair goes to Tweezerman for sharpening. Tweezerman are the best!

These tweezers are easy to hold and so precise. I wish I would have bought good tweezers like these years ago instead of using cheap tweezers. Totally worth the price.

By far the BEST tweezers I have EVER used!

Theses tweezers are no better than their drugstore counterparts. While they do not easily pull out hair, they seem to do an excellent job at pinching and pulling your skin to the point it bleeds. Tweezerman is not same as it used to be. I’m sending it back.
