Brilliant! Went up for Xmas and still there as my little loves them twinkling in the hall 😂 ( they now occupy many of her friends houses too!)

Bought to hang from my cherry tree at the bottom of the garden. Easy to install, found that cable ties make install a lot quicker. And if you place a cable tie either side of each light you can make sure the lights drop vertically. Nice and bright, and like the timer function. Not sure how long they will last, as there is already condensation / water inside several of the tubes. But will update after another month or so. So just over a month after putting the lights into a tree, one of the tubes has 2 blown lights now, and the condensation issue has gotten worse. Beyond the Amazon returns policy now, so can't send back for replacement or refund. Won't buy again as they lasted 6 weeks before starting to fail. Don't waste your money or time purchasing these lights

Have two sets of these now and although the lighting tubes still work having problems with the solar panel and programming can you just order these? As not working 😢

Update, further to below review the seller reached out and offered a full refund Additional 2 stars added for very acceptable customer appreciation Will use the seller again *** Bought in June 24 Had them out all last summer Looked great Packed them away in shed in late October to conserve batteries Took them out this week left in full sunshine for three days, "off" but "charging" Only 2 leds per drop flashing intermittently Would have expected them to last more than one season Very disappointed considering the price paid AVOID

I fully charged the unit before setting up the lights and tried pressing every button possible but the lights refuse to even flicker. The power light is on, the charging light is on but they are the only lights that come on - very frustrating!

I hung this string on the Christmas palm trees in my front lawn. It's the only string that's not wired and it lasts past my bedtime. They look very nice I think. If I had a big tree with branches, it would be even better but the palm is all there is. I'm adding to this review after 4 months of use. I like these lights so much I didn't stop using them after Christmas. I put them in my backyard in a dark corner and they are the only lights I have that stay lit all way until dawn. This morning I got up at 7 and they were still bright. Every other solar light in my backyard was out. I would rate these great quality!

Update: It's been a year in storage and I pulled it out for Christmas and it unfortunately was not working. I left it up for three or four days hoping it would eventually come on trying every night. It was put up in the exact same spot as last year, so sunlight shouldn't have been an issue. I was however able to attach the lights to another set that are plugged into an outlet and they are working! So it just seems to be the solar panel. These are a really nice addition to my Christmas decorations for a tree that isn't easy to get a cord to! I love the solar part of them and it works great! They are very bright and stay bright all night and are still working when I wake up in the morning while it's still dark. The only thing that I'm confused about is that mine do not have 8 flashing modes. In fact my remote doesn't even have 8 numbers on it like what is advertised, there are no 'mode' buttons at all. When I push the different buttons the only thing that changes is the brightness. I have tried all the buttons including the 'mode' button on the solar panel itself and it only changes the 'brightness' of the lights. It doesn't really bother me, but I feel the need to add it because it is what is advertised. Over all they are very nice and bright and the solar panel works really well, they just don't have the advertised 8 modes and the remote that is pictured.
