I ordered 3 different ones of these. How do I tell them apart for gift giving ?

You can't , that is the surprise part for kids. When you buy them in stores you don't know which one you're getting. Being able to choose was a great option that Amazon gave parents😊

If there is a spot I can click for the back cat is that guaranteed to be inside?

Under the product photo you can pick the color kitten inside

Is there an option to purchase Rainbow Kitty?

Unfortunately, there's no cheat code to crack the surprises, it's the luck of the draw, which means you receive random surprises.

Should it work as soon as it is switched on? Just got it. Nothing happening.
