Greenworks Pro 80V 10 inch Cordless Tiller Cultivator, Tool Only, TL80L00

Needed to till an area in our yard for seeding where some large trees were removed and stumps grinding. The tiller worked better than expected. Found pulling the tiller backwards dug deeper in the soil than going forward. First couple of swipes dug up all the woodchips from the stump grinding, removed the wood chip debris, added more dirt, went over a couple of more times, and was ready for seeding. All in took less than 20 minutes.

Great product works well

"Nobody does better" at designing cordless tools than Greenworks, this tiller is well made, light and simple to use. That said, even Greenworks designs are not perfect, so I suggest viewing u-toob type video comments and reviews to expand on the TL80L00 10-Inch 80V Cordless Tiller's user manual (tine placement comes to mind). Also note to any Greenworks folk who may read this, How-To videos are more helpful than little advert videos, in my opinion. An ASUS style unboxing and set-up video would be a great help to many potential customers. This 80V tiller came from a third party, it had been opened, partially assembled, and then improperly reboxed; but somehow arrived nearly like new. All pieces were included. Everything works right. Instead of the standard 80V 2Ah battery, I used the larger 4Ah battery from my Greenworks lawn mower, and the tiller runs longer on that. Great tiller for smaller jobs in the garden. The only thing I would mention is that it occasionally jams on buried stones larger than about 2 inches. The good news is that it takes only a minute to unlock and slide the jammed rotor off the axle, quickly clearing any rocks or debris.

I love this tiller it is so much better than my gas powered tiller. Easy to use and maneuver around my raised garden beds. Very durable and was definitely worth the money.

Assembled easily in minutes. Put it to the test right away and it kicked butt. I have hard clay soil and just needed to get a couple inches loosened for overseeding in spots where my tow-behind aerator couldn't reach. It's lightweight and easy to handle. It also loosened some palm-sized rocks in the soil without any difficulty. For narrower spots you can use just two tines, but it's already fairly narrow. It's exactly what I expected and needed. Couldn't be happier!

Let me start by saying I am keeping this tiller. For us, we purchased this tiller for our small beach front. We live on a lake and use the tiller to toss the sand around so we can easily tug out grasses that creep up onto our beach. The tiller does get into the sand pretty well on the draw however on the push its pert near useless. There is not enough weight on the front to make walking it forward and deep tilling an option, it WILL walk you but it doesn't dig in. The digging in comes when you draw the tiller back. It is however, an arm workout!!! Pulling it back you have to slightly lift while pulling and let me tell you, while the tiller ran for about 22 minutes, I didn't have much more arm workout left in these old wings. So, ultimately if you are on the stronger side and looking for a tiller for small spaces this is for you. If you are elderly or infirmed or just plain ole out of shape like me, maybe look for other options.

It just jumps; does not tills

Ich habe seit Jahren den 51cm Mäher und bin begeistert. Erst jetzt habe ich entdeckt, dass es auch eine Motorhacke gibt und habe sofort bestellt. Die Vorfreude war groß, die Enttäuschung größer. Das Teil hat überhaupt keine Kraft. Meine kleine 700W Eletrofräse ist dem Gerät haushoch überlegen. Bei ein paar Grashalmen schaltet das Gerät sofort ab, selbst wenn man nur zwei statt der mitgelieferten vier Fräsringe verbaut. Leider unbrauchbar.

Super easy to use in our small veggie garden, no more worries about having to find, un-reel, drag around an electric cord HOPING I don't rip it up while going back and forth. Wish I had this years ago, would have saved hours of aggravation with the electric corded one. Not meant to do acreage I'm sure, but worked like a champ on our small 20ft by 30ft garden. Easy to assemble too. Is a great addition to my growing collection (lawnmower, blower, trimmer).....
