SIGURANTA Garden Hose Repair Kit for 3/4 Inch Hoses, 2 Sets

I am truly impressed with the quality of these brass hose connectors. The seller’s description is spot on. The price for two sets is a good bargain. The connectors themselves are well machined and nicely finished. The thickness and weight is standard. The hose clamps are 304 stainless steel (non-magnetic) and the screw appears to be 430 stainless as they are slightly magnetic. The clamps secure tightly without digging into the hose. I experienced no leakage. As far as durability, I think these connectors will outlast several hoses. Added bonus - I received two extra rubber washers per set of connectors.

I had to cut off the end of my 5/8" Flexilla garden hose. This was easy to install and the clamps are 303 stainless steel. I finally have a hose that doesn't leak.

Hose connector was easy to install. Well constructed. Hose clamp worked well.

Yes, a garden hose repair kit can be beautiful. I know for I have gazed upon just such a thing. Everything is exactly as it should be. The machining, the fit, and the finish are works of art. I was a bit concerned when the photos showed o-rings instead of rubber washers, but proper washers showed up: both installed between the male and female pieces, and spares as well. And again, I wasn't so sure about the bumps on the hose clamps instead of the slots I was used to, but I was persuaded by the promise of "German stainless steel" mentioned in one of the photos. I must say, this may be my new favorite type of hose clamp. The clamps with the slots leave narrow sections of steel on either side of the slot to carry the entire stress of the clamping forces. I've had more than one clamp break right at this high-stress point. I feel confident these will suffer no such fate. You get the entire width of the strap to keep things tight. Thank you Siguranta for a job well done.

I recommend this product. It works well for it's intended purpose.
