Less Technical, more Fundamental
This is not a technical deep dive into options strategies. Rather, this is a nicely laid out review of option definitions and guideline to achieving a long and successful trading journey. The author lays out the general knowledge an options trader should have going into this type of career whether it be for personal finance or as a fund manager. Concise summaries are given of the options and various strategies, however, the emphasis is on the bigger picture of building a strong foundation for a sustainable trading system.

A Well-Organized and Practical Guide to Options Trading
For anyone looking to get started in options trading, "Options Trading [All-in-1]" is an immensely practical checklist that provides a clear, structured approach to understanding and executing option trades. It covers "34 techniques, tactics, and strategies", making it a great resource for beginners who want to build a strong foundation while also gaining insight into the nuances of risk management and market analysis. One of the book’s greatest strengths is its logical organization and sequencing. It begins with fundamental concepts, ensuring that newcomers grasp the basics before diving into more advanced topics. The step-by-step progression makes it easy to follow, even for those with no prior experience in options trading. The book also includes essential discussions on regulatory issues and personal risk assessment, which are critical for any trader looking to protect their investments and make informed decisions.A unique and thoughtful addition to the book is the commentary on work-life balance. Trading—especially options trading—can be time-consuming and mentally demanding, so I appreciated the author’s insights on maintaining a sustainable approach. This emphasis on balance is a refreshing perspective in a field where the focus is often solely on profit and strategy.Another great feature is the bonus content offered by the author—five additional PDF documents that provide further resources. However, these materials are only available upon writing a book review, which may not appeal to all readers, and makes it impossible for me to comment on its worth. My only real disappointment with the book is the lack of graphs and visual aids, particularly for topics like technical analysis. Given the complexity of options trading, well-placed charts and illustrations could have greatly enhanced the learning experience. Concepts like option spreads, Greeks, and market trends would have been easier to grasp with more visual representation.Overall, Options Trading [All-in-1] is a well-structured and informative resource that provides a comprehensive introduction to options trading. Despite the minor drawback of missing graphs, it remains a valuable first step for anyone looking to navigate the world of options trading with confidence.

A Must Read For Beginners
Having traded Future options myself this is a great starting point to understand the importance of every aspect of the trade.I’ve made a lot of money by having a trading plan and following through like what you will learn inside.I’ve hedged futures, bought and sold them, my favorite are the deep out of money options that can be bought cheap and then turn into lots of cash. However, there have been times where the options expired worthless and many times purchase further out options why because I have a plan and stick to it until the goal is reached. This book talks about the importance of a strategy and following through. I found I had my most success when I followed my plan and had the biggest losses when I was in my head. There are many successful strategies for trading however, the biggest optical is the person in the mirror. It’s the psychology of trading taught in this book. This book is a great starting point for anyone looking to get started in options trading the right way.

This was an excellent read
This book was well written. The author did a great job researching the stock market, and explaining it. It was a very good read, and explained it to some who aren't real familiar with the stock market. This gave me a new perspective of how it works. I am so grateful for this read.I didn't understand a lot about it, but I do understand more now. The author clearly wrote about the difference between the stock market stocks with and without the dividends. Now it makes more sense to me. I have some with dividends that I didn't understand before but do now.I hope to read more from the author, and get a clearer understanding if they write more about the stock market, I definitely will give this a 5-star rating. This was an excellent read, and would share this with anyone else who is interested in it.

Not the best for learning to trade options
Pros: Good overview of trading psychology and discipline and general financial market operationCons: Not enough info about options trading - there are no actual or even hypothetical examples and really some of the options strategies are missing detail about how they work. Also the writing style is odd - maybe indicating too much AI writing.

Are you willing to learn …
This well written book is an overview of the techniques and psychological requirements for options trading. It does not cover the math and the probability theories behind the trades but it is very good in describing the requirements and professionalism needed to be successful.
