I did not expect these wheels to work as well as they did, nor did I expect the durability. The only limit to their performance was the weak tool spinning them. I used these for cutting 16 ga mild steel strip and grinding out some oversized welds. For cutting, I found it decent but thick. It feels much more "coarse" and less controllable/predictable than the abrasive resin wheels I'm accustomed to using. IIt did do the job.Where I really enjoyed using this wheel was for dishing out the oversized welds. For that task, the breadth of this wheel was an asset. It sits very comfortably between a the traditional grinding and cutting wheels. I like this width for precision rounding work. With a traditional cut-off wheel I find it easy to make a very jagged surface. This wheel is less inclined to do that, even though I provoked it enough with my own fat-handed technique.I would choose these again and have no problem sharing that here

I'll be using these to cut trough porcelain floor tile to install a floor outlet in our kitchen. I was looking for something in a smaller diameter which will allow me to get into the tighter corners. They appear to have plenty of diamond coating which should last long enough to get the job done.
