Good quality pump.
Good quality pump. I bought this pump for a water feature in my back yard. The water feature consists of a five foot tall contemporary fountain statue design. Water runs over the top of the fountain and into a hidden basin. Total pumping height is almost six and one half feet. I studied pump charts extensively and this one was rated with a head height of twelve feet maximum. At 600 GPH this one seemed to be a good fit. The pump barely pushed enough water out the top for my liking. As a result I purchased the EP 1350 model which did the job very well. My only advice is to go big and use a valve after the pump to turn water flow down if necessary. Luckily, I have a smaller fountain where the EP 600 should work well. I gave this pump four stars instead of five because of the cheaply made accessories that come with it, including the hose barb adapters which are made of cheap plastic. The pump fell over when I was positioning it in the basin and the barb adapter broke completely off the top of the pump. I solved the problem with PVC hose barb fittings.

Very powerful for size
It works really well but it is too powerful for my purpose. It have a small water feature and we have a hard time controlling the pressure so that it doesn't flow out of the fountain.

Pump Works Great, but . . .
This is a replacement for a 2-season old EasyPro EP200 pump. Unfortunately, they only seem to last a few seasons. They new one has been running for about 3 days now (11 hrs/day) and is working fine. Unfortunately, the pump arrived with a broken mounting plate. Luckily, I took the plate off the old pump (before I tossed it last year) and put it on the new one. This plate contains 4 suction cups that allow the pump to attached to any flat surface. Not necessary for pumping, but handy for getting and holding the pump in position. The performance of these pumps is great, the durability not so good. I assume that the coils are opening up for some reason because the pump mechanism always looks great. At least I'm accumulating spare parts if an impeller/magnet/shaft or filter housing should fail.

Fish Pond Pump
I guess its times to give a review. I bought this pump close to a year ago. It has ran 24/7 ever since, and pumps well. The only complaint I would have it does not have much of filter, so sediment and other junk overtime reduces the water volume so about every 6 weeks I have to manually clean, no big deal, but yuck.

did not last very long
I put this pump in in February, and it is now the end of the june and it has electrified my pond. My poor fish were getting zapped and are somehow still alive. I didn't realize it, until I went to clean out the filter and I put my hand in the pond and felt the shock. So disappointed as I had just gotten my pond looking like I want it.

Great Aerator for my Pond
I bought this pump to aerate my pond. I thought it would easily clog and requirea lot of attention. I put a pump bag around it and have used it for about a yearnow with out having to get it out and clean it. Great buy!

Only worked for 5 months!
Quiet and functioned well ---- for only 5 months! - It was working fine, never "on" unless it was submersed, water in the fountain cleaned regularly, filter kept clean, no power surges -- but it just stopped working:( Now for the kicker: it says it has a 3 year warranty, but try to get that honored. Nope. It is made by Easy Pro Pond Products in Grant, MI. But, another "but," their website is really for distributors only. I bought it from Amazon, but they do not have any links for returns under warranty nor does the manufacturer. So it really doesn't have a functioning warranty at all.So this product is really a buyer beware. Maybe mine was defective and others are great. This was the shortest lived pond pump I have ever owned.
