Multiple problems with this wireless car charger. The USB port got loose in a couple of days causing intermittent charging. So no wireless charging after a couple of days. Then I wanted keep it to just use as a phone holder. That has worked very well until just after the Amazon return window closed. So in about forty days the magnetic pad lost its magnet ability. Very disappointing. $30 down to the toilet. Don't even think about buying it. Not recommend it at all.

I have used magnetic chargers before, and they do get warm. This one was the only one that made my phone overheat every time I used it. Dangerously hot, my phone would make an alarm, (one I never knew about until this,) then shut down for safety while not even being close to fully charged. In the market for something else I suppose...Update: Got a response from a Kome representative, posted as a photo here. She mentions a need for using the air vent clip in warmer weather. First of all, not represented in the description of the product anywhere. I don't want my air vents blocked by my phone as I am hot in summer too, which is why I wanted a window mount in the first place. Secondly, the late April weather here isn't hot at all. I do not consider mid 60 degree weather to be too hot for a phone to be used. If I had been warned in the description of the product ahead of time I never would have bought the thing, and I'm sure no one else would have as well. Warm phone is fine, and expected. What I experienced was dangerously hot, and potentially damaging to my phone. Additionally, this problem must be well known to the company, as they were not concerned I may have had a defective part, and rather blamed me for the way I was using their product. A disappointing experience all around.

This wireless charger arrived well packaged and I have been using it for about a week with my Samsung S8. It is solid and well built, It works great and charges fast. It came with removable magnetic pads, good quality charging cable and an extra mounting head. when placing the phone on the charger it nicely snaps into the charging pad, and I can easily rotate it from portrait to landscape mode. Over all A+

it drops down when I put up the iphone, the magnet is strong but the because of the phone weight, the who unit drops down with phone facing downside or it completely comes off the windshield.

the sticker on the back of my phone felt 1 day after the return policy expired.... very disappointed!
