Alter Eco - Organic Chocolate Cocoa Dark Quinoa Crunch 2.82 Oz. 123748

This is one of our favorite chocolates. It is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the last bundle we ordered had melted prior to delivery and then evidently been put back in a cooler environment. It was discolored and a bit chalky. It is a wonderful bar, but unless you can get it in a cooling package, I wouldn't order it in the summer.

I know this is a great product as I have ordered it before. There was an ice pack in the package, but it just wasn't enough in this heat. I have opened 2 and they are nothing but crumbs - edible, but not easily and definitely not something I would take elsewhere, as I am wont to do. Just a warning that ordering these to be delivered in the south in the hot summer might not be the best idea.

This is my favorite chocolate and I get it weekly at Whole Foods. Recently, my Whole Foods stopped carrying this bar so I was excited to see these online. The quality was definitely off- maybe lack of temperature control (melted and hardened again?) as they are all a bit white and consistency was off- very dry. Really affected the taste. Very disappointed.

We love alter ego and this bar, that gets 5 stars but the service on here is currently subpar and began three next travels where we won't be taking the bars now that we can't eat them will have to follow up... SaysProduct not eligible for return/refund and we leave on trip in less than an hour. Only realized it when packing as chocolate is primarily a gift for friend. Very sad. Ordered this chocolate, our favorite chocolate, for a friend who also loves it, special. However received a product ee didn't order, the toffee bars in a full case with milk which two out of three and the most special person can't eat. A whole box. Just sad and annoyed and confused by the current looks of being unable to get help. Might be amazon and not alter ego but hopefully we will get help.....unfortunately our friend will now need to wait at least 4 months for our next trip to see her.

We love Alter Eco's quinoa bars... but the 12-pack we received from this seller tastes off... the surface of the chocolate bars has a white-sh sheen over it. We actually do not feel comfortable ingesting them but cannot find a way to request a return or an exchange. Hoping the seller will reach out after seeing this post.
