Beautiful book with lovely pictures of Venice and clear, concise information. I bought it as a gift for my mother after we had taken her on holiday to Italy and visited Venice.

This is a beautiful book for all lovers of Venice.No matter how many times you visit this beautiful city this book shows places you could not find normally. I love Venice but, this book is, for me, the ultimate in photographs and detail. All lovers of Venice should purchase this wonderful book! You will not be disappointed.

Having returned from a visit to Venice earlier this year, this book was just right as a photographic memento, I absolutely love it and pick it up time and time again. The book is divided into the six areas of Venice and gives snippets of history about each one and shows the everyday sights you see when walking or floating around Venice. The layout of the book is very pleasing, one full page photograph with the opposite page divided into a smaller photograph and two paragraphs of description. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

For those of you that love Venice, then this is the book for you. The photos are stunning and will bring back many memories, as well as giving ideas of other places to visit the next time that you are in this beautiful city.

Beautifully illustrated book with plenty of information about all the areas in Venice and their history. . Very reasonably priced for such a lovely coffee table book. We are going to Venice next year and the book has given us lots of ideas of where to visit.

De très belles photos, à un prix très raisonnable. Un livre à laisser traîner pour combattre un petit coup de blues, se rappeler un voyage à couper le souffle,... On n'aurait pas forcément choisi tel angle de prise de vue ou telle partie de tel palazzo; mais chaque photo nous renvoie à notre propre Venise avec plaisir.

The book lets you see the parts of Venice the normal tourist misses. It shows where the residents live, work, and worship. You can see the areas of the city that are beyond the Grand Canal and St. Mark's Square which makes Venice a unique city -- and where you will want to visit.

Visited Europe a few years back and bought the Paris edition of this book, which is really great. I decided to search for the Venice edition and found it here. Now I I have both for my coffee table! I feel like I'm back in Venice all over again!
