Looks great but pump doesn't work
The refugium is amazing it's the perfect size for my 40 gallon tank. I had problems with the motor at first but they said they would send me a new pump. I hate that I just now found out about this. I definitely have been missing out on a great thing for my tank.

Worth... The... Money!
This thing is totally worth the money, and very very quiet, I cant hear it over my fluval 407 on the other side of this 75 gallon tank. Be warned! The corner where the motor intake rests is vulnerable to break, BUT NOT IN THE WAY YOU THINK! The corner of mine unfortunately broke off but I glued it right back on! Do not force the mounts in any way, I made the error of making sure it was resting on the rim securely by adding some pressure downward and it broke, just nestle it into place. I have a rimmed tank, don't bother cutting the plastic rim to try to get it to rest flush, you run the risk of what I tried to do, the screws will actually clamp onto the rim and the pump is more than powerful enough to pull water even an additional half inch up, so no cutting is required. Really clean look and easy to customize as far as lights, it's built with two support braces to keep the center from bowing out and seconds as a light rest for any light bars you might get, what I have is temporary until I get one myself! Fits really flush against the tank despite the rim so I'm impressed there! I have gar so still water is needed, the sponge/flow breaker for the outlet is really nice, keeps the top water nice and still, or just remove the sponge if you want it to stir up the surface! Really awesome design in all honesty, they thought of everything you might want out of this thing, just don't force the mounts! Will be getting another for my 55 as well, very satisfied and worth the money!

Amazing idea that failed!
This was an amazing idea I have an all in one 65 gal aquarium. I needed a low profile refugium that I could put my micro algae in. The window in the back is genius because you can just stick a chaetomax light right on the outside on a timer and boom. Sadly it didnโt even last a year. The bottom seam started leaking water causing water damage to my walls in the basement and my 100 year old floors. Complete flop! A lot of people complained about leaks and I thought Iโd take the chance. Like I said great idea but this mess was not worth it!

So quiet, I had to look closer
Very quiet, so much so that I used a flashlight to look closer and the water was gently flowing back into the tank. The piece holding the sponge was broken during shipment, but the edges matched back up, so I used holdfast like on my rock, and it's fine. I'm happy and fixed it instead of returning and still started my tank on time.

Refugium for an AIO tank
I like it. Although I wish the pump was adjustable for flow rate.

Perfect HOB Fuge
Very Easy to hook up. I read the other reviews and knew not to press to hard when putting on the tank. The motor took about 3-5 minutes to prime. I added some rubble rock, Chaeto and, a small strip light. my nitrates dropped down to an acceptable level. after being very high.

Works great for Fresh Water Algae Filter system
For my idea it works great for Fresh Water Algae Filter set up using the window in the back of the Refugium. Google "Santa Monica HOG Algae scrubbers" or DYI ideas on site you can build your own. Tip, I drilled a small hole into some drift wood to replace the sponge, its super quiet and wont hear it over a Seachem Tidal 110 lol, But its a option for hanging something in top location.

Arrived broken
The product arrived broken. I had to use acrylic solvent to adhere the return slide back on. It was completely snapped off and rattling around in the box when I got it.
