Not better than Seagate Ironwolf drives.
I use Truenas with seagate drives and this synology drive is not that good but synology wants to use their hardwares such as drives, ssd etc. I wish they allow seagate or any third party brand to work with DS925+.

Synology Nas System
This is my first NAS system and I went with the recommendations (Synology harddrives for the Synology NAS) that I reviewed on the web. The Synology Nas system was easy to setup and everything seems to be working great. So far the harddrives and NAS system are working as expected.

Good quality Drive
Using in Qnap NAS with no trouble so far. The speed is good and they also run quietly.

To replace Seagate IronWolf
Decided to test the synology branded drive. The model numbering seems to imply it is a Seagate drive. Anyway, it is used to replace a Seagate Ironworlf which failed after 4yrs. The last one I bought seems to be a Toshiba manufactured. See if this will outlast the Seagate branded one. One benefit is that the firmware can be directly updated via Synololgy NAS.
